“I am in town for the weekend and stopped in for coffee and breakfast at about 11 am on a Saturday. I was originally going to pick up food to head back over to the airbnb but ended up staying while I ate a chicken empanada, an Everything Flagel (flat bagel) with lox cream cheese, and a cup of coffee. As I ate, a lot of people came and went and seemed to know the place really well. It appears to be a family business and the customer service is friendly and efficient. The parking is plentiful and convenient, and the place is clean with a great assortment of fresh bagels. The coffee is fresh and average tasting. I was amazed at how many people ordered ordered bagels with the inside fluff scooped out, which I have been doing forever. This is why I was so happy to discover the Flagel which I asked them to scoop out anyway, but there was less to scoop out because it is already flat. I'm interested only in the crispy part, not the soft bready part inside. The empanada was great. They have chicken and beef. If you buy 6 of them, then the 7th one is free. The dessert/sweets assortment varied from things that looked homemade to packaged cookies to muffins from Costco. To go, I bought 2 more garlic bagels with lox and regular cream cheese, a bagel with some homemade chicken salad, a beef and a chicken empanada, plus a black-and-white cookie (which was fresh and delicious even though it was prepackaged.) This place is great, and I wish there was one like this where I live in Redondo Beach, CA. The only negative thing I have to say about Bethpage Bagels is that I wish that they would accept some form of payment other than only cash. Even if it were Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal, any other option would be an easier and more sanitary way to pay for food. I don't like seeing people in a food establishment handling dirty coins and bills if they are also putting food into bags and containers. That's the only reason why I didn't give this place a 5-star rating. If this were not a cash only establishment, I would've purchased 7 empanadas to go, instead of only 2!“

“The owner is one of the nicest and hard-working men you will ever meet. Guaranteed, this is arguably one of the best delis in the East Meadow-Bellmore area. I highly recommend you get their bacon, egg and cheeses OR any of their bagels. You won't be disappointed.“

“Food are surprisingly not bad. Ordered a poke bowl and Mrs D fried chicken. The fried chicken was juicy, and skin was crunchy and crispy though it is more of a dried spice type of chicken. There is a bench with 4 tiny tables for dine-up and 2 bathroom. Will definitely order again.“

“We used to come to this place all the time when it first opened. Somewhere in the first year the staff became rude and we actually avoided the place. Gave it another chance today since we had people coming over and its the closest to my house and I was so pleased with the customer service !! Brianna was very helpful. “I grew up on Long Island, then lived in Queens for years, worked in all 5 boroughs, and moved back. I’ve tried bagels from almost everywhere anyone has recommended - nothing tops a real LI bagel! We stopped in here yesterday morning and had some of the BEST bagels I’ve had in a long time. The cream cheese flavors were fun and new and we got to sample a couple before making our choices. They tasted like they were made with intention and care and not just chunky ingredients mixed together like a lot of the other places around here. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and clearly loves her job. If she’s the owner, she loves her store and it shows! The jalepeno cherry pepper cream cheese was phenomenal and the brownie batter cream cheese on a french toast bagel was actually insane. My family found our new go-to spot! Highly recommend!“

I had an amazing experience dining at Be-Bob Bagel Shop in the heart of Hempstead, located on Main Street and Front Street. This hidden gem offers a wide variety of bagels with different toppings, a salad bar, and an impressive selection of sandwiches.

The everything bagels are insane- none of that sticky wet seasoning on top like some other places. Perfection. If you get a breakfast sandwich, they’re very generous with the bacon- and it’s good bacon. I love the crumb cake and the giant sprinkle cookies. The coffee is hot and fresh. I order the day before and my bagels are fresh warm and packed in freezer bags ready to go. They freeze great and toast up fresh! And always get my favorite salt bagel with veggie cream cheese to go! I love their veggie cream cheese because the veggies are not shredded. My granddaughter loves the iced coffee, it’s amazing!
