I stop here when I am up on LI. Bagels are expensive for what you get but taste delicious. Their prices keep going up. Pushy man behind the counter that kept getting me to order different and extra items I didn’t want. I moved over to the young woman behind the counter to tell her my order since the man wouldn’t listen to me, the customer. While in Plainview visiting a friend, my wife brought home bagels from Town Bagel. I’m glad she did. Sadly, I have not found a Connecticut bagel that is as good. The bagels were soft and delicious. My favorite was the everything egg. They include salt as one of the toppings which not all bagel places do. When she bought the dozen, she was offered a free cream, cheese or six bagels free. Egg-everything is the best bagel I've ever tasted. Service is usually pretty good. Atmosphere is standard LI bagel shop. Not a huge fan of the coffee - but the baked goods make up for it. A neighborhood staple that is definitely worth experiencing.
