Walked a mile to Town Bagel, and it was well worth it. Family owned, Alyssa was on the cash register, and she is the daughter of the owner. It was Sunday morning around 10:00 am, and the place was packed with people picking up or dining in. The bagels were classic east coast, something I don't get in California. Nice crispy outside with a crunch but soft and chewy on the inside. Of course, I got mine toasted with creme cheese. If you are around Town Bagel, a great place to fuel up for the day.

Egg-everything is the best bagel I've ever tasted. Service is usually pretty good. Atmosphere is standard LI bagel shop. Not a huge fan of the coffee - but the baked goods make up for it. A neighborhood staple that is definitely worth experiencing.

I stop here when I am up on LI. Bagels are expensive for what you get but taste delicious. Their prices keep going up. Pushy man behind the counter that kept getting me to order different and extra items I didn’t want. I moved over to the young woman behind the counter to tell her my order since the man wouldn’t listen to me, the customer. The man then showed up at the register to add on additional items I did not order and tried to charge me another customers Snapple drink on the counter where the customer was standing waiting on their order. He then kept staring at me while I ate at the table. They also talk rudely about customers in Spanish and I can speak Spanish so I understood what they said. I answered the older woman in Spanish and her eyes lit up with shock. Food is great, prices too high and some staff and owners are rude.

While in Plainview visiting a friend, my wife brought home bagels from Town Bagel. I’m glad she did. Sadly, I have not found a Connecticut bagel that is as good. The bagels were soft and delicious. My favorite was the everything egg. They include salt as one of the toppings which not all bagel places do. When she bought the dozen, she was offered a free cream, cheese or six bagels free. We went with the six bagels. Looking forward to her next trip into Plainview. Hopefully she will have time to get more bagels.

Feb 15 at 7am, this was the most discusting omellette that was served to me.How could you work a breakfast grill and have no clue how to make eggs.Wanted to go to the grill and smack the face of whichever undocumented illegal alien that made this while asking him if his mother would eat this omellette.

Best Bagels in Plainview. Service is always good and always attentive. It's your typical town place to meet up and enjoy a good meal. The staff are always pleasant.

Great bagels. I had a bacon egg & cheese. I would Like to try them for lunch next time I am in town. Pretty quick service for such a busy place. I wish we had bagel places like this near me. All we have is microwaved mass-produced junk from Dunkin or Sixbucks!
