I highly recommend the burrata appetizer; our other dishes were great too but came from the specials menu so you may not be able to get them consistently. Soft shell crabs, veal osso buco... but I think anything you get there will be fresh and of the highest quality. Good wine list too. If we ever find ourselves in the neighborhood again we will make a point of returning to Franina.“

“Came for a Valentines lunch with wife. Started with the bake clams that were incredibly fresh and tasted GREAT! Wife had the seafood salad that she was RAVING about. I had the veal parm which was excellent. Sauce was well done and NOT OVER SALTED. Really enjoyed very much! For desert had a cannoli that was awesome. “My wife and I are from Bay Ridge Brooklyn, with plenty of great Italian restaurants too choose from. We happened to be in LI, had not eaten and stopped to eat before the getting stuck on the Belt Pkwy home.
We are so glad that we did. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic and welcoming. We had the baked clams and seared tuna, delicious! The beet salad with the quinoa, freshing! The salmon cooked perfectly! The squid ink pasta with seafood (I didn't share) was that good.

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard.
