“We've passed George White Restaurant so many times and finally stopped there to dine. What a great surprise. We both loved the decor; it reminded us of Saratoga NY. We were warmly greeted, and the service was outstanding. The cocktail was spot on, and the mussels were great with the warm bread. We devoured our Filet of Sole Francese and Rigatoni Bolognese. Very fairly priced as well, yes, we will return.“

And we had just gotten back from the Amalfi coast in Italy. So that has to say something for this place! Jimmy, our server, was a doll and was so kind and brought things out for our dog, like water, etc. - very warm and welcoming place!!! of course we had to eat alfresco, and the traffic was a bit busy at that hour - so if it wasn’t for that noise, we would had an even greater time! But the excellent food and the excellent service more than made up for it! we will definitely be back with Toby!“

“We had a last minute reservation for 8 people, and we were lucky enough to snag a table. YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE! Our entire table loved the food. From the appetizers (the warm bread, the amazing carmalized onion spread, & the Calamari), to the main courses (the NY strip steak, the shrimp, and the ravioli), to the dessert (trust me... get the bread pudding!) everything was impeccable. “I bought an apple tort for a New Years Eve family gathering and was very happy! The apple filling was lightly cinnamon and light without too much sugar and no jelled apple. The topping was neatly sliced apples brushed with a small layer of apple jelly. The crust was the short bread variety. Only $30. I was traveling and didn’t have time to bake so this light but tasty dessert was perfect! Worth visiting for hostess gifts! Nicely wrapped cookies, brownies, quick breads are sold there, too!“
