This so called pizza place is now my go too Italian restaurant. Service and food above par . “There aren't many family run delicatessen/breakfast/sandwich places like this left anymore. Everything is a big chain. The Panini Tuscany grill is a wonderful place to grab a bite to eat. Family run mom and pop place- wonderful! Delicious breakfast and paninis.“
“We LOVE amalfis! Friendly service through the years, every time it's like visiting family. Pasta dishes on Tuesdays (my personal fav is the pesto gnocchi) with live music and, of course, pizza classic and any which way you want! My son loves hawaiian, I think he saw a meme, but they make it for him anytime. They always have delivered food quickly and the sangria slaps.“
“Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Florence, the pizza was out of this world, we tried the spaghetti alla carbonara del Chianti and it was mind blowing the combination of flavors, the pizza has nothing to envy other famous pizzeria in Florence, we tried the burratina, with fresh tomato sauce, burrata cheese and prosciutto, I highly recommend it, service was excellent!!!“

The owners along with their Umbertos staff are "The Tops" as Mel Tormae would say.
