Good meal but not rushing to go back. The food was good, not amazing, but very expensive. Very noisy in the dining room too. Good place for large groups but there are other Italian restaurants on LI I would recommend over this.

Saturday evening dinner without a reservation. Walking in, my eyes immediately gravitated to the pictures of the owners and the many celebrities that have eaten and visited there before. The bar area is very nice and large, with TVs playing sports and news. We were greeted, welcomed and seated immediately. The dining area is very large and decorous. The tables large enough to sit us all. My cousin-in-law and his family frequent the restaurant and he practically knows everyone there, so as we sat, we were introduced to the owners and pretty much about a half dozen waiters and other staff members. All were extremely friendly and welcoming. As expected with all family style restaurants, the tables are very close to one another but positioned in a way that still allowed for ample space for you to move and sit comfortably. When we sat, there were hardly any people there, but within an hour it was full of patrons and large families. It was loud, but manageable. The food was unbelievably delicious. I haven't had true traditional family style Italian food in a long time. From the Fried Calamari and cold antipasto appetizers, to our Veal Parmigiana, Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and prosciutto entrees. Paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo Napa, I truly enjoyed my meal. I haven't enjoyed food this good in a long time. My girls shared a huge plate of Chicken fingers and fries, and they loved it. I highly recommend anyone who's in the area to dine here. You won't regret it. Thank you for a great meal and patronage.
The food was great, but just not 5 stars. I went when they opened up on a sunday, and a chemical/bleach smell got stuck in my nostrils. I was also thrown off by the 8 large televisions in the dining room... not what I'm used to at a restaurant like this- This is the extent of my complaints. Words can't to justice to just how good everything is at Chris and Tony's. Starting off with the warm bread, we then ordered a caesar salad which was dressed to perfection, and the split the penne vodka and chicken parmigiana. Both were absolutely incredible. The chicken parm was one of the best I've ever had, crisp, flavored to perfection, and just incredible bite after incredible bite. The penne was al dente perfection as well, and the vodka sauce was the perfect balance of all the flavors. Finished with the brownie - which was warm, fudgy, and delicious, and the rainbow cake - which really tasted exactly like a gigantic rainbow cookie with incredible raspberry jam. One of the best restaurants you can find in NY.

My niece had her daughters Christening party here. It was fabulous! The food was delicious with great portions. The space perfect and staff was not only very accommodating but also very friendly. I highly recommend eating here and hosting a party.
