Attended a birthday party here and they did a great job managing a large party! Each meal came with a choice of pasta, rice or green beans. I really enjoyed the veal parm and the shrimp in green sauce. Definitely order the rice side when you get the shrimp so you can drench it in the green sauce. The green bean side was pretty basic. The chicken rollatini was very salty and I would not recommend. Prices of the entrees are between $20-$30 but they gave you a decent portion for each. I wasn't a fan of the sangria; both the red and white were very sweet! Overall, I wouldn't come running back but they did a nice job hosting for the occasion. The food isn't anything special so I'm not sure I'd come running back!

The food was horrible and the service left much to be desired. The tables are to close to one another.I wouldn’t recommend dinning here. Over priced on all menu items, drinks are watered down and not delivered in a timely fashion when ordered.

Good food at reasonable prices with exceptional service makes this a restaurant that you'll want to return to often.

The best food, everything is always so fresh. The servers are all so nice and helpful, especially Robert! It's been our Friday night spot for 30 years, always consistent.

Been here twice, both times the food was amazing and so was the service, our waiter was very attentive and funny, definitely coming back!

We didn't know about this hidden gem. Friends suggested and highly recommended it and they live 20 minutes away. I have to say it was one of the best dinner experiences that I have had in a while. The food was perfect and they have a ton of gluten free options, and the chef is willing to accommodate just about any allergies. And best yet it was much more reasonable than other restaurants around town.Dietary restrictions: Offered to make almost any dish according to your needs with substitutions.

For inflationary late 2022, by comparison to other restaurants we've been to in upscale towns of Nassau County, the prices here are good: $10-$13 for a large pour of wine; $7 for soup; $8 for dessert; $3 for coffee; and high twenties to low thirties for dinners that come with potato or vegetable. Warm Italian bread with butter and small salads with their signature dressing (reminded me of Japanese salad with ginger dressing) are included with dinner. I loved the taste of their Galician soup, which came with well chopped bits of sausage, white beans, potatoes, and something green that might've been spinach or super-soft kale. Several reviews liked their shrimp in green sauce, and many years ago, when we used to come here more often, I liked it too, so I ordered it again. It was good, a dozen mid-sized shrimp, and I used the Italian bread to wipe the green sauce off my plate. I also took a small and satisfying taste of both their tiramisu and cheese cake for dessert that we (five of us) shared. El Parral has a nice menu, that is, lots of good dishes to order, and all of us were happy with what we ordered. They use nice tablecloths and napkins and our waiter was both patient and courteous. We were there early, so we were able to park in front, but there's also parking in the back of this small strip mall, which is the middle of that part of the town of Syosset near the railroad tracks, about a mile north of Jericho Tpke.

Simple food cooked well. One server and one bus boy held down the fort tonight. He was really friendly. It wasn't a crowded night at all. The complimentary salad and delicious house dressing made this place especially charming. I had minestrone soup and chicken francese. Both were great. The menu had a lot of options to choose from. Each table also receives a bread basket with warm bread. Looking forward to going back one day!

Food was excellent, drinks were excellent, service was out of this world. Our waiter Eric is the man and guided us through our meal in all the right directions. My friend Giacometti loves the in house made chips and can't get enough of the green sauce. Will definitely recommend to Other and be back for more.
