Loved this place! The family - yes it's truly a family business - was so friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious - and a bonus rice pudding to top it off at the end of the night! Delicious 😋! And we got some great travel tips - we're looking forward to seeing the island recommended - Lefkada. If I could give this place 6+ stars I would!

We so enjoyed our dinner here! We got takeout once but this was the first time we ate in the restaurant. The staff was extremely welcoming and the food was hot and delicious. We enjoyed the spanakopita appetizer and I had Greek salad with falafel topper—my husband had the gyro with roasted potatoes. We will be back!

First time I went there I ordered pork souvlaki on pita bread and lemon chicken uzzo soap The lady Kathy I believe the owner said she was busy order when I get there I had already told her what I wanted the soup was not hot lukewarm did not taste one piece of chicken it was a mushy nasty mess nothing like the Greek soup I know when I got to the pork souvlaki Gyro the meat was cold it was not cheap cost me $20 I didn’t see one customer inside very upset to spend that much and get lousy food I let her know she said all the next time I’ll take care of it Well won’t be a next time

30 out of ten! My Uncle has been going there for years and it was my first time t h here last night! The lamb souvlaki was great and the salad was large and perfect! The seats are comfortable so we chatted without wanting to leave. The service was prompt personal and we even had a few laughs!!
I can't wait to go back and BTW desert was heaven on earth!!!!

Amazing food, exceptional service, and a must-visit!
My girlfriend found this gem while searching for the best places to eat on Long Island, and I can confidently say that "It's Greek to Me" is the best in the area! The quality of the meats is exceptional – the lamb was unbelievably tender and seasoned to perfection. My girlfriend is a chef, so trust me when I say that the quality is top-tier. Over the course of a week, I had nearly everything on the menu, and each dish was a standout. Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious.

The Tiramisu? Hands down the best I’ve ever had – I’m still dreaming about it! What makes this place even more special is the husband-and-wife team who run it. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the love and care they pour into every detail, from the food to the dining room and customer service. They go 110% every time, ensuring each guest has a memorable experience.

I travel a lot for work and eat at many restaurants, but "It’s Greek to Me" is by far the best. Highly recommend!
