I am a local resident for over 30 years and have seen her customer service go from bad to non existent. Not only that her prices have gone through the roof at over 20 % over her competition. Her servings have also decreased in protein content and hidden with rice or noodles. She has priced herself out of the market and totally taking advantage now of the few customers that continue to go to her store although not as many as in years past. She should do us all a favor and save herself the financial misfortune and close her doors or completely revamp her business plan and attitude towards the residents of Syosset.

Love the Chinese food here. I read some of the other reviews and I can tell you that the perceived rudeness is really more of a language or cultural issue. When you call you are greeted with "help you?" Then many of the responses and confirmations on the call are short one-worders. That all said I have gotten to know this husband and wife team and they really are nice people. Let's get to the food. The Wonton soup is tasty. The pork Lo Mein is great and even better the next day out of your fridge. The chicken and broccoli combination with fried rice comes with an egg roll and is delicious. If you want to get healthier you can get steamed shrimp or chicken with broccoli. All in all a perfect Chinese food take out option that will keep you happy.

Do business elsewhere. They overcharged us at the door for over 2x the total added up from the menu without leaving a reciept (husband didn't realize), I called back to clarify our total and was given obviously fake prices then hung up on when asked about the disparity in the menu prices. I don't know how they keep any customers operating like this.

We have been going to Kam Garden for 20 years and have had consistently very good food and service. Once you get to know the people behind the counter, they are very sweet. The hot and sour soup is fabulous every time and we enjoy the chicken dishes and scallion pancakes. To sum it up, we haven't had a bad experience ever going to Kam Garden and all the food we've eaten from there has been delicious.
