I just went to Kashi tonight for their grand re-opening. I brought my two daughters with me . We had the absolute best time! What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is incredible. The food was sooo delicious. The server/ bartender Joe was the best . I’ve never had such a genuine, attentive professional and warm person serving me at a place . He really made the experience perfect and so enjoyable! I highly recommend this place. You will love it !!! A++++ thank you Joe and thank you to all the Kashi staff ! We love u ! :)

Great experience here! My hubby and I have been wanting to try this place for years every time we drove past it. Friends night recommended it. We finally gave it a shot last night. It was outstanding!!! The food was fresh, delicious and quick to come out. When they had trouble w/ the dessert taking too long, the manager came over to tell us and they made it right. I don’t know what it look like before the remodel, but it was beautiful inside. The staff made me feel very welcome. They were always checking in with us and making sure we were good. They made great recommendations on drinks, and they were great choices. The pricing was fair and reasonable. We will definitely be going back here again. And you should go too.

I’ve been coming here for years and so sad that it’s not the same place. I understand that management has since changed along with the wait staff (the old wait staff was AMAZING!) but they’re still bumpy at best. Tonight the disgruntled bartender broke a glass in the bar fridge. She seemed so pissed that it broke that she grabbed two new glasses and slammed the fridge shut. So now there’s broken bits of glass possibly in other glasses. The manager saw it and took the big pieces out but what about the rest?? How do they know there isn’t more broken glass in that case?? Oh and I was charged for an item that I didn’t order and the bartender asked to check my bag after I showed her. As if I’m hiding shrimp tempura. Such a shame. Was a great place. Won’t be open long at this rate

Went for Sunday dinner. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered the special of the day which was the King Roll, Hibachi entree, chicken lettuce wrap appetizer, and a salmon avocado roll. All the dishes were delicious and my wife and I finished it all. Joe was our waiter, and he was attentive and friendly. Would gladly come back again.

Just got my order delivered in a nice bag but portion was so small comparing to dine in portions. Lobster Rainbow roll looks miniature, 3 crispy rice tuna bite for $16? Definitely not worth. Rock shrimp tempura was reasonable and so was shishito peppers. Flavors was ok. My dining experience was much more memorable than take out. No more take out for me !

One of few five star restaurants on my lists. Food is always good to great, service is friendly and efficient and the ambiance is great. Petit filet mignon is amazing. Small portion with roasted garlic and tender filet cut seared perfect. All sashimi is fresh and cut perfectly, not too big not too small. Avocados are always fresh. Lettuce wraps with chicken are excellent.

Kashi is a sushi restaurant on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset. As expected, the menu features a variety of sushi, sashimi, rolls, and more. The ambience is modern and I imagine it is nice for dining in the evening. Expect to pay ~$20 for a lunch, and $30-40 for a dinner.I came to lunch with a party of 11. I think we all enjoyed our food and the presentation was excellent as well. Personally, I had the sushi lunch box with a salmon roll, and two pieces each of yellowtail sushi and spicy tuna gyoza. Everything tasted nice. I quite enjoyed the ginger salad starter, which was yummy. We felt that our service was unusually slow. It took just under 2.5 hours to go from sitting down to leaving. I'm not sure how much of this could be attributed to the waitstaff, the kitchen, or other factors. We could tell things were going south right from the start when it took ages for our drinks to come (literally just a bunch of diet cokes, waters, and iced teas), and ages again to place our food order. It was disheartening seeing other small parties who were seated after us receive their meals first! The level of attentiveness for our large party was substandard. The restaurant was not even particularly busy at this time, so it was anomalous what was happening. We did receive some complementary mochi ice cream to make up for the significant delays, which was a nice gesture. In sum, I'd probably eat here again with a small party but I would have reservations suggesting to eat here with a larger group.

THIS IS A REPOST FROM GRUBHUB REVIEWS SO I COULD INCLUDE PICTURES.*** I ordered the 3 roll lunch special with a veggie roll, a Boston roll and a seared tuna scallion roll. The only good/ acceptable part was the tuna roll. The "veggie" roll was a AAC roll with ALLLLLLL cucumber. The "Boston" roll was ALLLLLLL cucumber, a sliver of shrimp and missing avocado. Plus those two rolls were put together badly and started falling apart. So I basically got two HUGE messy cucumber rolls (which if you know what a veggie roll and Boston roll are you'd be annoyed too) and I was completely gypped of what I actually wanted. Just because it's a lunch special doesn't mean that a restaurant can cheat the customer of what they paid for and basically lie about their product. I wish I could leave pictures of my order with this review to further drive home my point because it's ridiculous.Grub hub has already refunded me which is great but I WILL NOT order from this restaurant again. ***

This Kashi is nice and all. They have somewhat decent parking, service is good. My only complaints are that this place apparently doesn't have a hibachi grill (like the ones you can sit at, and have the hibachi experience at) it's just regular dine-in seating. Food is good but my other complaint is that this place doesn't have yum-yum sauce. What hibachi restaurant doesn't have yum sauce? The other Kashi's (Bellmore, RVC) have yum sauce. It's bizarre how Syosset can't afford any. I dined in once and the service n food was still excellent, besides me not being able to have the hibachi experience (no biggie). Ambiance was still nice inside. My server recommended me some other sauce she said it was similar to yum sauce, but I stupidly never asked the name of it. I remember it was really good and I still enjoyed my food, but whenever I order take out I'll mention how I was there and recommended some other sauce and they're like "sorry idk what ur talking abt, we don't have any sort of yum sauce."
