Live fly strolling across a take out salad(clearly do not clean produce)…even more repulsive was the customer service by the lady working the front this past Thursday afternoon! I ordered takeout at 11:15 for 5 people, added a soup and salad when I arrived at 11:50, 20 minutes later, I politely asked... a 2nd time if it was ready, and was told”what do you want, you added to the order”(they quickly wrapped the soup that was sitting on the counter, and put it in the bag, they had forgotten, and were rude). Got to my meeting late, and the “bonus protein” was discovered by Amy who saw it walking about before opening the salad. I took the salad back, and was pretty much accused of putting the live fly into the salad myself! I was told, “maybe when you opened it”…we never opened it…”well I wasn’t there so I don’t know that” was her answer, basically calling me a liar…which is ludicrous as where would I find a live fly in a doctors office in the middle of winter? She barely wanted to refund the salad, it was a struggle! Avoid!

Ordered a chicken avocado salad on UberEats all they sent was iceberg lettuce tomato and 3 little pieces of chicken it was missing so much and when I called the store they said there is nothing we can do about it and they weren’t even sorry about it… Uber also won’t issue a refund. Don’t order from here!

I placed a catering order for a small New Year's Eve gathering at my home, including a 1/2 tray of Pollo Pomodero, 1/2 tray of Penne con Vegetali, 1/2 tray of Calamari Fritti, and a full Margherita pizza. Unfortunately, the 1/2 trays were subpar; my guests hardly touched the food. The calamari was rubbery, possibly cheap and frozen, the penne overcooked, and the Pollo Pomodero seemed old and was not fresh. The only edible item was the pizza. They were closed on New Years day, I called the restaurant on 01/02/24 and spoke to one of the workers. He said someone will call me back. I got a phone call a few hours later, saying that someone will still contact me. Having not been contacted, I stopped by the restaurant the following day. I spoke with Anthony, the owner, I went over my catering experience with him. He promised to consider a resolution and took my contact information. Anthony contacted me on 01/04/24, offering a $100 gift card, which I accepted. However, as of over two weeks later, I have not received the gift card.

We had a great meal last night! The service is awesome and the atmosphere for a casual dine with their excellent taste of music was great. I had the penne with baby broccoli rob and sweet sausage was fantastic.

Friendly welcoming and clean restaurant Many options like the plainview one. Fresh hot bread w oil Steaming hot dinners served to trmp Delicious side dishes and wonderful potatoes Sandwiches, salads, soups, pizzas and wonderful after dinner deserts

Ordered a salad with a few revisions and it was done very well and tasted great. Best salad around. My double protein and tip brought it to nearly $30 but well worth the extra $8 versus chopt or sweet green and happy to patron a private biz. Will be back soon
This used to be one of my favorite places for take out but tonite, no. The marinara used to taste fresh, garlicky and vibrant. Tonite it tasted so overcooked that it tasted like a jar sauce. My chicken dish felt more assembled than cooked or prepared. Sauce was drizzled on top vs. cooked within, where flavors marry. I usually order on weeknights and maybe the chefs are different… but tonight’s Saturday night dinner was a real disappointment. I’ll give it one more try before writing it off. But this is pricier Italian takeout and if I wanted mediocre I would order elsewhere for less money.
