Used to have great French fries but I was very disappointed to find they recently changed from their excellent hand cut fries to those that looked like they came out of an ore ida freezer bag from the supermarket.

Solid sandwiches! I was so sad when Village Heros closed down and began my search yet again for that Soul-satisfying sandwich... Roast is in the running! Got the Cubano and the Country Fried Chicken sandwiches - so tasty!! Also enjoyed the house made fries - ordered two for two people but one order would have sufficed. Great portions! The only downside (very slight) would be the Mac and Cheese - not bad but not great. It was the only hiccup during the whole meal. Service was quite friendly and efficient; the seating area was clean and comfortable. Parking is easy and, if you have room for dessert, Ralph's is just a couple of steps away (during the warmer days).

I am amending this review because I had Roast Cater a pre-wedding groomsmen party for me. The testament to the quality and taste of what they provided was as the trolley headed to the venue, all the groomsmen were talking about were these incredible sandwiches. They did not stop talking about them the entire night. Even after the reception a couple of them said we should go back and take a few for the road. All I can is Roast is our go to place. Not only for great food made with fresh high quality ingredients for a lunch or dinner but now also for catering. Truly gets no better!

Roast has the absolute best Italian sandwich, I ordered one with a role and it was DELICIOUS. The different flavors make a combination that is tangy and flavorful. It has a kick, great flavor!

We went to the Syosset Roast and we were very impressed with the food and the staff. The Cuban Sandwiches were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back. We brought a large group of family members to Roast and everyone enjoyed their meals.Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot

First time coming to this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the selection of meats and their sandwiches. They use USDA grass fed Beef for the sandwiches which I highly recommend their roast beef melt with their crispy bread. I didn’t expect the the steak juices to come with the sandwich for dipping and it paired well the meal with the liquid being very flavorful yet light in fat. I also got their tuna sandwhich and sweet tator tots. They were both great with the sandwich being half. The bread of both sandwiches were great if you’re looking for high quality bread. If you’re looking for high quality ingredients in a sandwich, this is the place to go.
