Purchased a cake for my daughter’s first birthday stating I wanted a pastel rainbow cake with rainbows, sunshine’s, and flowers. I sent a picture 10 days before of what I wanted. I was called 2 hours before my scheduled pick up and told they didn’t have fondant and couldn’t make what I asked for. I was busy getting ready for the party at that point and told them I trusted them to make it pastel rainbow. Drove 30 minutes to pick up the cake and it did not have one rainbow on it. It was mostly blue with white writing on a white cake, exactly the opposite of a baby girls first birthday cake. I asked the owner to call me that day. Called back the next day and requested he call me. On the third day I sent an email and still never heard from him. Had to dispute the charge for my $230 cake with my credit card company.

The parking negatives listed below are due to Jackson Ave / Jericho Tpke traffic congestion. It has nothing to do with the quality of the baked goods or services. If you come in from the south bound or same side as the shop it’s fine.

There are a few vendors that consistently provide a great in store experience, and amazing tasting food and I'm so happy to support Smallcakes as one of those outstanding vendors.
They never fail to help out with special requests. This past Sunday at around 2:45 (they close at 5) we made a special request for Monday but didn't realize they're closed (for Columbus Day.) Without a hesistation - the owner set us up with a dozen custom cupcakes in Mets colors for my Son's 16th birthday.
If you want a great vendor that serves up really delicious cake - you have to try these guys. They'll work with you on just about any design if it's physically possible to do! (and I would guess they've done some impossible ones too.)

Amazing First-Time Experience! I was a bit indecisive about what I wanted when I called Smallcakes Syosset, but their customer service over the phone was incredibly helpful. As it was my first time buying from them, they took the time to discuss pricing and they offered great recommendations. I ended up ordering one dozen vanilla and one dozen red velvet cupcakes. They charge about 5.50 per cupcake. They require a deposit of half or you can pay in full, and I chose to do everything over the phone three days prior to my event, and paid for half. I asked for the color blue on the “Happy Birthday” print cupcakes, so I wasn’t sure what to expect—but everything turned out perfect! The cupcakes were beautifully decorated and very moist. I went on a Sunday for pick up, and since it was pretty empty, I had no issues with parking, which was a relief. I highly recommend this shop and will definitely purchase here again. Plus, they offer a discount if you pay the balance in cash, which was a nice bonus!

Ordered a cake all the way from Virginia for a very special girl and it was ready by the time I flew in! The cake was exactly what I wanted and they did an amazing job ! Best cupcakes I've ever had. The pink vanilla are classic vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and are my favorite. They are very soft and moist. They stay fresh for a few days after I buy them. Friendly staff and clean store. They make very cute cupcakes for all holidays. Highly recommend.
