This was our first time at this restaurant. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

I had indicated that we were celebrating a new job. We were 3 adults placed next to a table of 12 with several children running around and playing with toys on the floor right next to us. Not the experience we expected. Food was mediocre.

I hadn't been to Steve's in a while. There were two of us......simple dinner of fried zucchini, shrimp oreganata and rigatoni bolognese. The "single" portions (as opposed to the family style, 2 or more) were enormous - very generous, I thought and suitable for sharing. The owner was friendly, the waiter great and all service staff very accommodating. The parking in Syosset is very easy, because you park in the LIRR lot at night (no sticker needed at night) and enter the restaurant from the back entrance. All in all........Steve's isn't the only family style place in the area, but it was packed on a Saturday night. I can see why the regulars love it. Nice bar in front too, where people were both drinking and eating dinner. We will be back for sure.

When we were seated service was fast! Our drink order was taken right away. Then he took our food order. Then we had never saw the waiter again. Came back once to get us another round of drinks. It wasn't even that busy. Finally brought us the check. Not impressed

We have been customers for almost 25 years, starting with the Westbury location, including sweet sixteen party for grand daughter and many other family occasions. We love the family style portions and the always consistent quality of the food.
Overall very good . The food was good and the veal Milanese was very good and the waiter Tailored the dish to my liking . The owner came around to make certain all was good. Will definitely go back.
