I thought the food was decent, portions are big so make sure you get the “single” portions unless you are sharing with a group. The only critiques I have was the penne with marinara sauce- the pasta was a bit overcooked and the sauce had massive chunks of garlic all throughout making it hard to eat. There were also a lot of fruit flies/gnats flying around which was a bit concerning. Over all, I would come back and try them again. Also, a lot of reviews mentioned long wait times; we were given our food within a reasonable time, no complaints there!

Came here on a Saturday night and sat down at like 645. It was not super busy, but soon to be. Service was terrible. Waiter shows up with 2 menus, one was incomplete (had no wine list on back), and no menu for my kids. One kid is 5, OK, I get that. But the other is 9 and massive. He can read bro.
Food took absolutely forever. The table next to us was their wheelhouse type of a customer (baby boomer aged, typical sheltered Long Island couple) and they were getting course after course brought out to them. While we waited. How dare we bring children we thought? Was that it? My kids are sitting quietly coloring and reading, so I don't know. I didn't feel like I was welcome though, that's for sure.
An hour goes by. Not even an appetizer. Plus my wife asked them to fire the kids stuff with appetizer and just bring it out whenever it's ready. We ask that everywhere we go because my kids eat slow. The request is always followed and easy for the restaurant. Not so for Steve.
She finally gets up and asks the host what's going on. We get a half passed apology.and stuff finally starts coming.
Let me say something good - my wine was served nice.and cold. Which it should be - crisp. Food portions are huge. My kids loved their meals. Each ate everything (they were starving at this point).
Our appetizer showed up with their stuff and our entrees still took a few mins longer than it should have tbh. I think we got our entree like 90 mins after we sat down, (before the rush, it was grandma time still).
I feel like they knew they screwed up and no one cared. They could've sent the manager over with a sincere apology to check on us. "Hey, I'm so sorry guys. Really. We dropped ball." And send out a small dessert on the house. THAT might've made me give it another shot. But nope. Full bill, no apology, nothing. We were there for over 2 hours and had 1 appetizer and entrees.
And they never asked me if I wanted another wine until I was basically done with my entree. Unfortunately, this review won't matter because there will still be a ton of boomers scarfing down their flavorless food like it's got a Michelin Star.
It was pretty bad. We will not be returning.

We have not been to this restaurant in many years. It was not very crowded the night that we went, but I must say that the service was very slow. We had to flag down a waiter to get drinks and menus and people just seem to be standing around. We ordered a few appetizers and a few dishes, one of which was supposed to be a tortellini carbonara after the waiter took our order, and over 35 minutes went by without us getting an entrée, he came out to ask how we wanted the carbonara sauce prepared. For an Italian restaurant of this caliber, it seemed extremely weird to not know how to prepare a staple Italian dish that you could get at any pizza place. What was interesting? Is that the stuffed mushrooms, the linguine with white clam sauce, and the tortellini, which was nowhere near a carbonara type sauce, all tasted the same. Everything had a strange brown sauce on it. That was super salty to the point. It was almost edible. Those three items should taste nothing like one another yet they did. We were just extremely disappointed in all of the dishes, as well as the service considering the restaurant was virtually empty due to it being a rainy night. Unfortunately, we will not be going back.
Great service & atmosphere! Try the Chilean Sea Bass!

Generally a good experience. The waiter guided us to dinner selections and truthfully we could have had another pasta dish.Food was generally good but not great, with one exception. Shrimp marinara was served with overcooked, tough shrimp. Our reservation was honored, a welcome situation for Saturday night. Lots of parties made for a lot of noise.
Very much enjoyed trying this restaurant again after several years . Always believed it to be only family style but learned they have individual portions and will happily return . Meal was delicious and the service Wonderdul .
Food was good for the most part. The chicken franchese ordered was small in portion and should have been accompanied by vegetables considering the portion size. Had to wait 20 minutes for waiter to bring check. The noise level was very uncomfortable. I couldn't carry on a conversation with my first date because it was so loud.

Saturday night dinner experience.Overall a relatively busy space. Cramped into a table for 6. The service was mediocre at best. My main complaint was the quality of the food. While the portion size is adequate, the quality of the pastas and sauce is subpar. All the pasta is overcooked and mushy. The sauce tastes like they were out of a can. The chicken entree was decent. The problem with the dish was we requested ( as the menu enabled at an additional fee) to have the meat off the bone, however there was still a bone in some pieces. With so many positive reviews, I was hoping for a better experience. May give them another chance when the restaurant is not as busy .

Stopped in for lunch, and the food was underwhelming. The Alfredo sauce tasted like a cheap bottle sauce. The decor was nice but felt like they practiced segregating their customers. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
Not a great experience. Came for an early dinner. Other than the specials, the waiter said nothing, explained nothing about portions, etc. The food was mediocre italian fare. Fried mozzerella was fried balls of cheese- strange presentation and hardpressed to find any cheese inside.Waiter only came back to ask if we wanted coffee or dessert, never asked if things were okay etc. Terrible service. Wouldn't return to any of their locations

The chef was out that day it seems... We sat for an hour at our table and were not informed that our food was likely not going to come out. We had to ask about the status of our food. Then we left. Overall, quite disappointing.
