Made dinner plans for 6pm. at Steve Pissola Buccola Syosset prior to the performance of Something Rotten, at Cultural Arts Playhouse on Saturday, March 16th. When we first arrived, we were told to wait. Even though we had reservations, the maître d' directed us to a table in the overflow room, which was often used for parties but also contained families with children and a TV in spite of the main dining hall's numerous empty tables. As a black woman, I immediately felt discriminated against. The waiter and staff tried to reassure us that everything was under control and that some people preferred to sit in the overflow room. Five minutes or so later, we requested to relocate. We ordered dinner because the show was at 8 p.m. The food was average, and the busboy who packed my leftovers didn't put all my leftovers in the container. From beginning to end, the dining experience was not enjoyable. Received comment from owner below, no acknowledgement, seems my assessment of what I felt was accurate.

Came for a Valentines lunch with wife. Started with the bake clams that were incredibly fresh and tasted GREAT! Wife had the seafood salad that she was RAVING about. I had the veal parm which was excellent. Sauce was well done and NOT OVER SALTED. Really enjoyed very much! For desert had a cannoli that was awesome. Waiter was very attentive and well versed on the menu. Would DEFINITELY come again. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

Seared quickly. Nice server but seemed new and overwhelmed. We asked if we could order appetizers then give entree order while looking over menu and told no. I mistakenly assumed my entree came with pasta and when it arrived without I asked if I could get a small side of linguini with red sauce. Server said might take 5-10 minutes. After 20 minutes someone else came to table asking if everything ok and I said still waiting on pasta side. 10 minutes or more later came with linguini no sauce. We were all done with entrees. I asked for sauce and came back. Then to add insult to injury charged me $22 as if another entree. Food ok. Value and flexibility not so much. I expected more from a NY restaurant

We dined here for NYE and were 3 couples. We shared dishes as the full portions feed 2 or more people. The salads and penne a la vodka were delicious, while the eggplant parm and filet of sole were adequate but not as large as we remembered. The sangria was good but not great. Overall, the service was very good and it was a pleasant evening, but wished for fuller portions.

Attended a lunch here and the food and service was subpar. Making food for a large group can sometimes be mediocre. Will have to try stopping in for dinner.

We met our friends at Steve's Piccola Brussels of Syosset this past Friday night. The service was 1st class. We ordered quickly and we were served reasonably fast. Our food was very tasty and delicious. Everything went well and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We've been to Steve's a number of times this year. The food is well prepared and really delicious. ?

Food was good and support staff attentive noise level was very loud. Waiter absolutely horrible. 25 minutes to get our drink (had to come back a 2nd time to confirm what drinks we ordered), hour and half until he came back to ask if we wanted another drink and hour and 45 minutes until entrees came. After we wrapped up our dinner, 20 minutes for waiter to come ask if we wanted any coffee or dessert. Check please!

My favorite restaurant in New York . Always consistently good . The service is always friendly and helpful . The red sauce is the best And the chopped salad is awesome . Everyone in my family loves the baked clams too . Always my go to .

I sat at the Bar where a few locals were having a friendly chat for which they included me.I had the grilled octopus appetizer. In addition to being very fresh it was also a generous serving which is rare these days. For dinner I had shrimp scampi over pasta with garlic & oil which was out of this world. The staff are extremely professional and personable which made the experience that much better!
