Convenient downtown location and times (in the Marriott hotel), friendly staff, good coffee, nice assortment of breakfast items, gluten free options! The almond joy power truffles are AMAZING!!!
I didn't know Cafe Kubal for the Syracuse coffee institution it is, but felt lucky to stumble upon it while staying seven floors above at the Marriott and jonesin' for a macchiato. Definitely beats overpriced yogurt parfaits and 16 oz standard cups of coffee the hotel was touting. The coffee menu is extensive and I stuck with my fave espresso macchiato which was delicious. From there, I wasn't sure whether to go with a breakfast bowl, burrito, toast, or something from the pastry...read full review

Love the baristas here. I started a job a few blocks away and as such started frequenting this cafe and within a few visits they started to recognize and welcome me warmly. Everyone is so nice and the short conversations always brighten my morning. Everyone has good music taste too!
