Love the baristas here. I started a job a few blocks away and as such started frequenting this cafe and within a few visits they started to recognize and welcome me warmly. Everyone is so nice and the short conversations always brighten my morning. Everyone has good music taste too!

Waited kinda a long time for my iced mocha. They did have to remake it, but they told me that after the fact. Also, no "thank you" or anything. They could be a little friendler. BUT my iced mocha was freakin delicious 😋😋😋!!!

Zero.. I guess I just made my last visit to this location. The Customer service representative that serviced my order for a cold, iced beverage was personally offended by the fact that I asked for a straw. She stated , in a not so nice voice, 'We don't have straws anymore, use a coffee cover . I said 'Iced drinks are more enjoyable through a straw and not through a small hole one would use for hot coffee'. She didn't give up there, she also said some rhetoric about the environment and how I should just use the plastic covers provided. ..I'm guessing a plastic cover is somewhat more environmentally sound than a plastic straw? ???? I suggested providing customers paper straws and she said they're too expensive and she is sure I could drink it through the plastic cover. Just a suggestion here- maybe sell the metal reusable straws and give the customers a choice?) Great customer service- insult and engage the customer in a negative tone. I will be sure to spread the word about this locations's stellar service....Go join Greenpeace if you want to save the environment, Sharon.

Convenient downtown location and times (in the Marriott hotel), friendly staff, good coffee, nice assortment of breakfast items, gluten free options! The almond joy power truffles are AMAZING!!!

Overall a good place, loved the atmosphere and had great customer service, the cofee wasnt the greatest but the food was good.

Didnt like dark roast they didnt have medium roast no flavor creamers bagel was good i rather go to dunkin donuts for the coffee.it is a nice cafe.

I didn't know Cafe Kubal for the Syracuse coffee institution it is, but felt lucky to stumble upon it while staying seven floors above at the Marriott and jonesin' for a macchiato. Definitely beats overpriced yogurt parfaits and 16 oz standard cups of coffee the hotel was touting. The coffee menu is extensive and I stuck with my fave espresso macchiato which was delicious. From there, I wasn't sure whether to go with a breakfast bowl, burrito, toast, or something from the pastry case. In the end, I couldn't resist the smell of sweet cinnamon wafting through the air that inevitably led me to the cinnamon bun with a delicious frosting on top. They warmed it up for me and I retreated back to my room at the hotel to feast. There were a few seats around the place, but it's clear this downtown spot is mainly popular for grab and go. The folks working there were super friendly and I loved checking out the artwork for sale on the walls. The Marriott was nice and all, but having this coffeeshop certainly boosts it up a notch in my book! Would definitely love to come back.

Miss all the people who work their. I would go in each morning before going to work and get my usual and they always greeted me with a smile and knew what I was getting. Loved their coffee and the donuts they would get from a local donut place. Amazing service and amazing staff.
