I ordered a beef meal for lunch. It was hard to bite. Also the silverware was of low quality.

Amazingly delicous, authentic Korean foods!! Four of us ordered four different dishes, but they all came out really fast. Very generous amount and great side dishes as well!! The owner is very sweet and kind. We’re not from local, but we would love to visit Syracuse just to visit here again!

I searched on the internet and found it... I didn't expect it when I saw the building's sign and the inside of the restaurant, but it turns out to be a hidden restaurant...The food is really delicious.

Love this place for Korean food. Best bibimbap I've had. The owners are very nice people too.

Not much seating inside. Looked like a one cook and one waiter restaurant. Food was delicious.

Delicious gem in Syracuse. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon with the place near-deserted. Quickly got some delicious tea and kimbap - with the lovely aroma of sesame seeds on top, glistening; really good green veg filling, egg carrot etc too. Then the curry pajeon! I've never had curry flavor before but that was crispy and fantastic, especially with its soy sauce. Tteokbokki was classic with the flat fish cakes, a good amount of spice for me (with lots of water!); fantastic chew. We shared the beef rice cake stew : sudden homey vibes, strong black pepper flavor, rice cakes and clear likely sweet potato noodles in there too, beef strands tender. Dolsot seafood bibimbap : this had little squids and mollusks (I think clam), and fish cake with the spinach carrot etc with again a great sauce, seaweed paper flakes on top, an oozy egg, and the red sauce on the side for as much spice as you want! If you don't touch it the rice crust is perfect on this winter day (no burned bits but crunchy!!). Ramen is vegetarian and gave me an instant nostalgic feel. Can combine with tteokbokki for a little rappokki fun! Then, the omurice: not the oozy japanese cafe one but an egg omelette on again super nostalgic fried rice. They can always hold/put on the side ingredients if you need. This came with pork strips I think.I'm in love with ajumma's sesame leaf banchan. It's so hard to find in upstate NY and unexpected!! The texture cannot be replicated by most supermarket goods. She also had soybean sprouts, kimchi, and fish cakes.Would highly recommend. Food is delicious, owners are very friendly and caring, and atmosphere is cozy.

The Osam Bulgogi is one of the best things I've ever eaten, but honestly everything on the menu is a 10/10.

Too much flies above the food ,no matter we moved to another table, the flies follow , I kept waved my hand to make sure they don’t touch my face, but one fly still stand on my short ribs and start to eat.We had talk to the old lady here, she knows this situation but seems didn’t plan to fix this.I can’t stand this,so disgusting… this is the second time I come here, last time the old lady messed up the bill of tables and took the charge more than we should pay, even though she come up to solved this before we got on the uber, but she refused to refund the 20% tip of the higher bill of the table she messed up we paid. I think this stored does not deserve any tip.

I've only been there a couple times now, but the food is absolutely amazing and I've yet to be disappointed. I'm obsessed with the galbi tang (ribs soup) and loved the chicken wings with red chilli sauce. Its a small space and definitely is no upscale restaurant, but I think the food more than makes up for it. Especially with the winter months coming up, I'll definitely be returning for that galbi tang every chance I get.The only confusing thing for me is that the most prominent door is not the door you enter into.... there is a door to the left which I thought was side door.

What a delightful hidden gem! ? I do mean hidden though, I had to call to find out which door led me to the restaurant! To give you an idea of the food, and my credibility I want to share- I am Korean American and grew up on Korean food. my parents own a really well known Korean farm to table restaurant, we used to go down to the city every other week and eat out regularly and almost exclusively at Korean restaurants…When I moved up to Binghamton, I was so sad, there weren’t any good Korean spots, the places in Ithaca and Syracuse that I tried were very mainstream and simplified to suit the American palate.I ordered the YukGaeJang, a spicy beef brisket stew, and WOW. The broth was SO delicious, it was deep, beefy, and SUPER spicy, just like it’s supposed to be. The Kimchi was amazing, the fish cake was fantastic, all the sides were SO good. The owner, a sweet hardworking woman, makes everything from SCRATCH! Hard to find in ANY Korean restaurant, and hard to find done well.Syracuse residents, you’re so lucky to have this spot right here. I live in Binghamton, but will definitely be here regularly. What comfort food ☺️Parking: Parking lot is a shared lot, but a few spots reserved just for Gangnam.

We went here before a show at the Westcott, which is across the street. It was recommended to me by my Korean friend whose super Korean mother loves it there too. So I knew it was gonna be good. Now, it's not a fancy place. Not a ton of tables. Only one, maybe two people working front of the house. But the food is terrific. We had some dumpling and a kimchi pancake. I also had a noodle dish that I can't remember the name. Japchai or something to the lilike. Regardless... it was really delicious. Not too heavy either, which is ideal if you're about to go dance for a couple hours.
