If you like Greek food you MUST patronize this intimate restaurant. It may be a bit out of your way, it BUT it is worth a trip to your GPS to find it! (It was actually only 5 minutes from our hotel!) We ate several entrees and could find no fault with anything. The prices were low end but the food was high end... the perfect combination. Definitely do not miss the desserts and Turkish coffee... AMAZING!

I usually get the Mazza, choice of 4 items. The babaganush and the falafels are my favorites. I also love their spanakopita. Food is authentic and home cooked by the owners. More seating and more upscale than James St location. But Goodies 1 is cozy and friendly. We went here due to the reviews. CASH ONLY!! I had the beef and lamb gyro dinner. Great salad with nice Greek dressing. Meat was very flavorful, and tzatziki sauce was great. Highly recommend!

We stopped in to Goodies 2 in armory sq at 9pm.The website said open til 10pm.It was empty. The owner said they close at 9:30 But the Original Goodies on James is open til 10.

My wife and I had the pleasure of a delicious, authentic, and generously proportioned lunch. The owner was our server and made us feel like we were invited into his home. When he offered us desserts that were freshly made by his wife...we couldn't refuse. They did not disappoint...I would drive across town just for those.

Been here several times, and they are very consistent. Smoked eggplant (baba) is star of the show. Always friendly and fresh. Very reasonably priced. This is a good go to place.
I have had almost everything on the menu between Goodies 2 and Goodies James street and everything is great. The food is phenominal, and the portions are generous. Everything is made fresh! The owner is a great guy too. Do yourself a favor and eat lunch there tomorrow.

I walked in and placed an order. The man immediately asked me where I was from. I told him I was from out of town. He said no, where are you originally from? Neither his tone nor his demeanor was very welcoming. Taken aback and being a brown immigrant man, I told him. All this made me uncomfortable. But, I continued to order.
