Not very friendly the fake smile! I visited my first time I’ve noticed the prejudice in the attitude! a question the front desk: How can I help you? I was wondering does she ask everyone coming to this place this question??!! Isn’t this place open for all and for everyone?? Like it’s not a restaurant in Italy ( I visited italy it’s friendlier!!)or somewhere fancy or celebrities that you can eat food with edible gold layer! it’s a countryside restaurant!! Like literally you never left salt city you know nothing about the outside world!

We had the mushroom tuffle ravioli appetizer to start and it was delicious. And finished with the chocolate truffle cake with chambord. Food was great. Place is cozy and the service was good. Would definitely recommend.

Service was great, food was extremely poor for the cost. Highly recommend skipping if you like flavor.

This is our go to when we want to feel at home and have a good meal. Don't be scared of the 70s decor in the addition of this historic building. Most who go here are regulars from the area, you should become one. Fran is always our waitress and is notch. The soups, dressings and pasta are always homemade. Yes, the food is fine dinning but the atmosphere is casual and friendly. I recommend anything on the nightly special, you won't be disappointed.

For being billed as a fine dining restaurant we were a little bit underwhelmed with the whole experience. From the booth style table we sat at, to the waiter being distracted by everything but us therefore never bringing us bread, the food was really good, I would call it low end of fine dining. The staff overall were friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is very nice also.

I urge you to get on the Inn of the Seasons newsletter! The food is the very best in CNY. You can have a casual best burger ever to gourmet dinners. Eat at the bar, on their beautiful deck, in a booth, or white linen table. Great wine list and specialty drinks. Recently had an amazing bean soup, signature bread and pillowy butternut raviolis. The Inn has, at least once a month, a special event ie. wine tasting dinner, clambake etc. They use only the best ingredients and local whenever possible. If you want a quiet dinner or a "Cheers" atmosphere, you'll find it at the Inn of Seasons.

Food was fantastic. French onion soup was the best we've ever had! We ordered the pork chops, stuffed chicken, and a couple of the seafood dishes. All were cooked perfectly and flavorful. Can't forget the crab cakes! Know that the menu changes with the seasons but there are a few items that seem to remain throughout the year. Always a great presentation too. Thank you, Inn of the Seasons!

We went to the Inn of the Seasons for dinner the other night. The building was built in 1812, so it has some historical charm to it. The wait staff were dressed all in black, with neck ties. The staff was friendly, and very young. Although our waitress was trying to keep tabs on us, service was a bit slow. Their menu had a wide range of choices, BUT everything on the menu was drastically over priced in my opinion. I ordered the "Ravioli platter", which was $25.00, and included NO salad, OR side dish. When my food came, there were a total of five ravioli on my plate, each measuring approximately 2.5" square. The ravioli were warm, not hot, and lacking in flavor. It did not take long to eat what little food was on the plate. This restaurant should have FOUR $$$$ next to it's name, because the "Ravioli Platter" was the second least expensive item on the dinner menu, just behind their $24.00 hamburger. If you wanted steak, the filet mignon was $50.00 . Definitely won't be returning, so many other restaurants in the area that serve similar menu items at a much lower price.

Had an excellent meal on the patio. The fried green tomato and pork belly salad was superb, crisp and tangy tomato cut through the fat of the perfectly done pork belly. Also had the baked haddock gratin and ravioli platter, absolutely delicious!, the haddock was moist and flavorful and the ravioli were light with a nice tomatoey marinara. Don't miss the cheese cake!

Always a good meal at the Inn! This upscale restaurant has stood the test of time and continues to satisfy its customers. Although a little pricier, the food is consistently good and is served in a relaxed atmosphere. Their servers are friendly + attentive. The restaurant can accommodate larger parties for special occasions.

So disappointed. This restaurant has been here for years and we were looking forward to celebrating my birthday. Food was mediocre to bad depending on what was ordered. Portions were small and severely overpriced. Just imagine ordering a fish fry for $35 and having it look like frozen fish sticks. We also ordered spicy shrimp with linguine for $35. Three shrimp a few tomatoes. Nothing high end at all. BLAH!!!!!

You will never be disappointed! Food, drinks and service excellent! Best Osso Buco! Best Lemondrop martinis!

Me and my family came here for a birthday- everything was so delicious. The cocktails were really special, I highly recommend the eggnog martini. The staff and ambiance were great, will be coming back!
