I wanted to write this review in reference to the pizza at this place. I've traveled the country and I'm pretty particular with my pizza. Mario and Salvos in Dewitt, New York is right up there with New York City, Brooklyn, New Haven. The crust is thin, the sauce is like my grandmother used to make not sweet and the amount of cheese that's put onthere is to perfection. You can tell that the ingredients are homemade, and the cheese is right up there with the finest of quality. if you're ever in the Syracuse New York area, I will highly recommend taking the time to stop over to get a slice or for that matter of pie. If you like meatball sandwiches, it's a 10. You can tell that it's a generational meatball recipe. Enjoy !!!

A Guide has no name
Excellent pizza and great customer service from the owner and staff! The best pizza in the City of Syracuse, no gimmicks just great ingredients. I ordered a pie on Slice for a specific time and that pie was at my front door fresh out of the oven 10 minutes earlier than the delivery time.Parking: There is some parking behind the plaza or across the street at the supermarket's parking lot.

Went for the first time for a couple of slices and haven't enjoyed pizza like this in over 30 years. This is classic pizza in a classic pizza shop, great dough, and seasoned just right. These guys know what they're doing!
Probably the closest to true NY style pizza w/o being in the city. Definitely coming back.
