So I am a disabled veteran, walking is very painful for me and the cold makes it worse. I work for Uber full time and I really only do the rideshare portion because of my disability. For some reason the app gave me a delivery order and I said whatever, maybe I can just get it from the drive thru. I asked to do that at the drive thru speaker and was told that the manager said I need to go to the lobby window for the order. So I go to the lobby window and there are ten people standing around with no staff in sight. It’s currently 20° outside with wind. I had to cancel the order and lost the payout! What’s the difference between the lobby window and the drive thru window?! Why force people to stand in the cold to wait instead of just running shit through the drive thru?! Normally I wouldn’t post a review like this just because of an inconvenience but that was the most asinine, low IQ, nonsensical, thing I have encountered while doing this job or maybe even ever. Shame
