This place is awesome. Every time I go to Syracuse I make sure I visit Helena's. They have great Greek food, I always enjoy my food, this time I tried the grape leaves. I really love the baklava and I always bring a large box home. They have a deli and a little market inside as well. The food is cooked upon order and is delicious. If you visit Syracuse,NY so by and enjoy?
I really enjoy Greek food so I have this place a try. I had a lamb gyro and shared a Mediterranean platter with a co-worker. The gyro was excellent. Fresh ingredients and just tasty. Their tzatziki sauce was very good. The platter had few items. The hummus with red peppers was delicious. The grape leave rice wraps were awesome. They had some Greek olives which I also enjoyed. Have been a couple of times now and have been impressed each time. The Gyros are outstanding and the people are fantastic as well. Highly recommend and I can't wait to go back and try some of their specials.
