For good Szechuan style food and at great prices. I usually go with coworkers who want a great Chinese meal. Pretty authentic. I'm not an expert on Chinese cuisine but I sure like it. This restaurant has some really exotic cuisine as well as the more familiar dishes. The prices are fair and range from rather inexpensive to fairly expensive, depending on the ingredients. If you are adventuresome and want to try something different, give this establishment a try.
Be prepared for a shock. The Best and most authentic Szechuan dishes in New York State are not in Any of NYC' s three Chinatowns, nor Albany, Buffalo, Binghamton, Ithaca nor Long Island. Old Chengdu Cafe North of Syracuse University has no ambience, no big draw but the best Szechuan food (ingredients, spicing, portions and presentation) in the USA North East of DC. As much an attraction as the carrier dome. AMAZING!
