Great hidden gem in Tipp Hill! Check the bar’s Instagram page first, the menu changes a bit from time to time… but that’s what I like! Always spotting different things to try, Dennis is great. Very nice, hard working, and always cares about his customers. Steves is on my short list of places to get great food in Syracuse.
I was driving back to Canada from DC, stopping at Steve's for a dinner. The food is very delicious, cajun shrimps are flavorful and baby ribs are tender. Really great price, hospitable and accomodating service. Definitely a hidden gem in Syracuse. I recommend stopping at Steve's place if visiting Syracuse or around.
Dave (the owner)greeted us like he'd known us for years and was happy to discuss the menu. Dave was also our waiter and the cook. The menu is limited but delicious and the restaurant is clearly a labor of love. The only reason I marked "atmosphere" as 3/5 is I didn't want anyone to expect anything fancy: it's no frills, but comfortable and relaxed (for *us* that's a 5/5).
