I recommend Suzie's Cafe / Diner because you won't find a sweeter woman than Suzie and you will become a regular customer after meeting Suzie and her cheerful crew and...the food is always fresh as can be and delicious! hey...and don't leave Suzies until you meet Suzies sister April...one just as sweet as the other and this warm and cheerful Cafe/diner is guaranteed to make you and your loved ones feel at home and you wont hesitate to return to this charming establishment over and over and over again and again! I'm happy just leaving this recommendation for Suzies because I am simply proud to state how wonderful, warm and cheerful the place is and again, the staff, April and Suzie and oh...Tommy, Suzies son is the cook! that guy will be sure to deliver you a loaded plate of delicious home style food of all kinds! We left our hotel after spending a few days at the New York state fair and stumbled upon Suzie's. What a pleasant surprise. We ordered basic breakfast of omelets, potato, and bacon. Food came out quickly, was hot, large portions, and served with a smile. Suzie's was a perfect pit stop on our way home

Suzie's Cafe, located on State Fair Boulevard in Syracuse, New York, is a small, comfortable dining establishment specializing in breakfast and lunch only.
We arrived around 10:30 on a Saturday morning to find the dining area moderately filled. We took a seat in the corner and were promptly greeted by our server, who was extremely pleasant and conversational. After serving us a coffee and orange juice, she navigated us through the menu choices, further explaining that although omelettes were not on the menu, they were certainly an option.
We decided upon a ham, sausage, and cheese omelette, as well as one with mushrooms , tomatoes, and cheese, both of which came with home fries and toast.
Both omelettes were very good. Although not overly stuffed with our choices of fillings, they were enough to satisfy our appetite.
The home fries were pretty bland, even with the added onions. I found myself adding salt a couple of times, even though I very rarely put salt on anything. Also the toast was a bit soggy.
By the time we departed around 11:45, Suzie's was almost filled to capacity. The cafe is clean, inviting, tastefully decorated, and has a friendly atmosphere. The lunch menu also includes burgers and sandwiches, among other items. If you're looking for a no-nonsense meal without all the bells and whistles, there's no doubt Suzie's Cafe will satisfy your needs.

No I did not have a bad day. So I came back today to try again blt bacon was over cooked toast was hard it was not toasted it was cooked all the way through hardly any lettuce and some tomato Fry's were cold and hard but it was clean. The people on both sides of me were not happy one had a fish sandwich to go and it was sitting already done for ten minutes ( not my words but hers ) the people on the other side were not happy also one man in front of me had his hand up for a while trying to get a drink. I just call it as I see it
