Tonight I was the one melting with delight at the table. They've got real talent in the kitchen and behind the bar. Every time I order I am so pleased. New menu four times a year that is well-balanced and super delicious. This is a real Syracuse area gem that I'm so grateful for. Definitely takes date night to the next level when the food and drink is that good.Thanks for respecting gf (gluten-free) as well. Truly appreciate it and feel welcome.

Haven't been here in a while but all of the buzz made me curious to go back. I was not disappointed. The highlight of the night was the great service provided by Kennedy. We were seated in a small dining room in the rear of the restaurant. It was very nice and not so noisy as the main dining room, so it allowed us to have a nice conversation. There are plenty of cocktail, wine, and beer options. I had a very nice martini. We started with acorn squash and onion dip which was topped with roasted chickpeas. Wouldn't unusual but delicious dish. To the restaurants credit, the menu appeals to everyone since it is so diverse. I ordered the salmon and it was perfectly prepared. The Caesar side salad was pretty small but tasty. This is a wonderful place to go with friends. You can depend on perfectly prepared food and service. A bonus is that the restaurant has a Facebook presence and an Internet site where you can book a table check out the menu and learn about changes in their hours.

I recently contacted Diamond Catering to provide food for a luncheon after a funeral. Emily was fabulous to work with which was refreshing under the very sad circumstances that we needed their services. She was very good in helping me plan the menu. The food came right on time piping hot and was delicious. We ended up having far more food than necessary but I had “to go” containers available for the guests. Everyone raved about the food especially the Vidalia Chicken. I highly recommend them. Thank you.

I've been here twice and both times the food and service has been fantastic. A little pricier than a chain restaurant but not overly expensive by any means, and you get large portions. Inside is cute and quiet with plenty of seating. They also have a nice outdoor patio area if the weather is cooperating. I've sat in both spaces and they are both equally nice. You have to try their appetizer Sammy's Sprouts, which is their take on Brussel Sprouts as Buffalo wings. Have had that both times and it's amazing! My hubby had their sausage riggies and he raved about how good it was. I loved my dinner selections on each visit. They have a nice variety on the menu and it changes with the seasons. Great place for a date night.

On a busy Saturday night I had a great meal at the bar. Dining room was full and reservations only. It is a VERY small bar so if planning to try this, get there early or be prepared to wait. About 30 mins before a spot opened up for me. Service was great! Lucinda is awesome. The food is always well crafted.Food: 5/5

Amazing food! I had the veal tenderloins wrapped in bacon - amazeballs. I washed it down with a maple Old Fashioned made with Maker's Mark - super good! Highly recommend this place if you need an amazing meal in a cozy, quiet setting. It was not over crowded or loud at all. They had a bar that served just about everything you could ask for - had a nice selection of beers on tap. And a great selection of various wines available. The Cider Mill is top notch!


The Cider Mill hits on all cylinders. From opening greeting, atmosphere, menu selection, specials, drink options, wait staff, food quality and presentation. Definitely a Wow!

Traveling through New York, we stumbled upon this really lovely location. The service is even more friendly than the reviews can attest, from the owner to the waitstaff, we were blown away by the kindness and hospitality while also still given our space to enjoy our meal. This place has mastered balance. Super bonus that they were amazing with our Pooch on the patio. Our food was beautifully plated, perfect to sometimes large portions paired with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. You get so much bang for your buck here as a road tripping foodie.The buratta with fresh grilled peaches, pecans and hot honey is a flavor combo I am now going to have to have more regularly in my life! The arachinni started with a delightful crunchy exterior that gave way to tender risotto and flavor packed mushrooms. For beverages, we chose the cider mill mule and the Strawberry Rhubarb negroni. Both were well crafted, the negroni perfectly balanced on just being a tad sweet while still bursting with fresh strawberry flavor and *I believe* Rhubarb bitters. I had the salmon with farfelle and my partner, the quarter chicken. My portion was huge, bright with dill and capers, the pasta al dente. The smoke from the salmon added a beautiful base note to the cream sauce that danced on the line of rich yet light with the offered lemon wedge that I spritzed it with. The chicken.....Oh damn, the chicken! I don't think we have ever had chicken so masterfully prepared that the skin was just the right amount of crispy, the glaze's heat was light and sweet. The meat was moist, falling off the bone. We almost ordered a second! Miraculously, we still had room for dessert. The apple cider donut is just as beautiful as the photos in all the reviews show it to be. The donut was fabulous. As a donut AND autumn lover, I had high hopes and they were not let down. It had great structure, able to support a dollop of vanilla bean ice cream without ever becoming stogie. Its flavor was lightly of apple, not too sugary and overall a great way to wrap up our night. We definitely took the place up on the 'buy a pitcher for the kitchen', they deserved that an more!I cannot urge you strongly enough to stop here if you have the chance. Thank you, The Cider Mill for being a surprise highlight of our trip.Dietary restrictions: They were extremely respectful on my food sensitivity to fresh peppers!

Always a great experience here. The food is phenomenal. Recently went for a private engagement celebration and it was perfect - typically the restaurant is closed on Sundays yet good friends were able to rent the whole space and it was excellent all around. Highly recommend.


Just had the catfish dinner and it was amazing. My wife had a wonderful, fresh salad. Everything is perfect here. Staff, service, atmosphere, drinks, food are all 5 star. Why would we go anywhere else?

I ordered the sword fish special. I am a senior athlete known for my fitness and performance. So thrilled to have such a beautifully prepared dish with fresh green beans and a healthy grain. Nothing smothered in butter and a nice portion- not huge - I had enough left over for a light lunch. Nicely priced and the best dinner out I have had in ages. We dined on the patio - a beautiful summers eve. Thank you to the Cider Mill team.


Had reservations for 2, upon arriving was told that they had a cancelation and we could sit outside if we wished. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. Riggies were excellent, I chose the roasted chicken was perfectly tender and moist. Also had the Flourless chocolate cake with black raspberry ice cream Husband had the smoked salmon pasta and Strawberry Rhubarb shortcake, he enjoyed both. He also enjoyed the Strawberry Rhubarb Negroni cocktail he had with dinner!

Best service I've had in a while. Everything I got (riggies, focaccia and Buffalo cauliflower dip) were very good. Good bourbon selection at mostly decent prices (A lot of Buffalo trace products from Eagle Rare to the Weller lineup to Pappy 15).

I would say you go here for the atmosphere, especially when you can sit outside. The patio is nicely seated away from the street and feels peaceful.The food, as a vegetarian, was ok. The Buratta was a disappointment as it is in so many US restaurants. It was more a slap on mozzarella with no softness inside. Also, it came with very hard bread sticks and tiny peach pieces. In general a bit more and another variation would have been better.That said, it has been the second time my wife was here and she loved the food (Tuna steak) which looked great. From what I saw on other tables, the pasta is is ordered frequently here (huge plate) and the drinks are being enjoyed.As mentioned, it's the atmosphere and we will surely be back again soon as it's close by.
