I ordered a sandwich and sandwich was given to wrong person. I waited for the correct sandwich. Bread was stale. Overall not a good experience.

The pizza was black literally burnt. Messed up the toppings probably because the robotic sounding girl on the phone acted like I was bothering her by placing my order and was barely listening.

Co-worker and I ordered on slice at 530 for a 7 pm delivery to work so we could eat on our break. 730 I call and ask where our delivery is, the female who answered said the delivery person left with several orders and it would be here soon. My co worker calls at 755 ish again asking where the food is, the female on the phone is rude and gives the phone to the delivery driver who says he was here and there are 5 doors and no doorbells and he left(we have been ordering from here for 25 years). I sat in the lobby while waiting on my break and there were no cars that even drove by on our road let alone came thru our gate. He then says its 8 o'clock and we are closed and hangs up !!! So that leaves myself and my co-worker on a 12 hr shift with no food and no break time to go and get any. I have been a regular at Velasko deli for 25 years and am there frequently. I can honestly say I have never been treated like that by any restaurant and won't be returning any time soon and will make sure my co-workers are aware so they to can take their business elsewhere.

Ordered online. Wings and fries. Arrived in between time estimate. 3 orders of wings and 1 order fries. Had to wait on 1 order of wings with 2 orders done and fries. Why weren't all 3 orders dropped at same time? Wings, for me, were way over cooked. Every 3 wings was a 12 oz drink. ( just to swallow) garlic Parm wings had very little to no sauce....should have just been plain. Counter girls were polite.

Have been a loyal customer for almost 5 years but the quality has really gone down hill in the last year.Most of the staff is very rude. Always too busy talking when you come in to order the girls behind the counter look annoyed to have to do their job and rush you or keep having their conversations as you try and order. Have called in many orders before and the phone will ring and ring or they put you on hold forever. I get being busy but hearing them chit chatting while I stand waiting to order time and time again is frustrating and rude.Food Quality has really gone down hill I used to love to get slices especially the chicken wing because it was fresh and tasty. Now it’s usually burnt and usually not fresh. Most times now the pizza has been sitting in the warmer for hours and is hard, greasy and gross. The crust is harder than a rock and burnt and makes you feel gross after eating. At this rate I would rather spend my money on frozen pizza or gas station pizza because it might actually be fresher ingredients.The atmosphere has also really gone down the drain. Seems like staff doesn’t even wipe off the table and they make you feel like an inconvenience to dine in.I recommend that management really works on putting out good fresh food again because I would be very willing to spend my money here again if I was getting the quality I used to. Unfortunately, I just can’t waste my money with prices going up everywhere I need to know I’m getting my moneys worth. Management should also work on staff attitude or at least hire people who care about the food they make and the people they are giving food to. It’s a bummer to see, hopefully things can be improved.

Just got home with a meatball pizza. Burnt...Black on the bottom! Called. A manager is supposed to call back about a refund. Ate some of the topping.

I would give 0 stars if that were possible. Just had the worst possible experience with Velasko pizza. Ordered delivery through their website. Delivery time came and went so I called the restaurant to ask if the order was on its way. I was told that i had called and switched it to a pickup which is a complete lie. When I told the woman on the phone I never once called I was met with nothing but attitude and wasn’t offered a solution in solving my issue. I will never order from this restaurant again nor will I ever recommend it.

I've been a customer of the Velasko Deli since they opened.I've come to expect a certain high standard from the place. Standards that Jean and her sister set before you bought it.Sandwiches always had fresh bread and were tasty as expected. 2 out of 3 sandwiches I have in the last couple of months had stale bread, I had the 3rd toasted to neutralize the issue.Pizza was always on point. The crust was perfectly cooked and tasty, the toppings were balanced and I always ate more than I should. I was always happy to order pizza to share with out of town friends, as it was the best. I was very very disappointed tonight. I ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza. The staff was polite, and the pizza was ready when I arrived. I did notice that the staff seemed distracted by conversations. I got home and opened the box looking forward to my perfectly cooked crust and aroma of fresh baked bread. The pizza was over cooked. The crust was overly dark and a 3 inch circle towards the center had no crust under it. Some bites were bitter. I thought about returning it, but the toppings were tasty. I thought about going back and talking to the staff, but it's not my restaurant.Our neighborhood needs this deli. It wants delicious food prepared by people who care about their product, and it wants to support a business that provides the community with top quality product. I'm very unhappy as someone who loves food of all kinds, and loves to cook and share my food with friends. I'd like you to take time to better train your staff. I'd like the staff to care more about the food they are giving people. I'd like them to take pride in the food they are serving.You are going to lose customers and your business will fail unless you address the issues. We don't need to lose the Deli, but you seriously need to address your issues. I wish you luck, and hope you are able to make the necessary changes to make your business successful.Donna Kuzio

Winter Deer

Took 27 minutes to get tenders. Staff doesn't say hello. Or anything they just looked me. It was odd. Food is not bad. I try to het the riggies that they keep in the fridge, but the last q times i went there. They werent available. Wasnt happy about that being that it was the only thing open within a pretty good distance of any other ffod. Oh well. Place isnt horrible. My experience wasnt the greatest the last few of times that ive went.

Disappointed yet again! The food at Velasko is less than average, basically gas station pizza, but it is a convenient location. Ordered two subs and a medium cheese pizza ($40) for eating in. Every table was dirty, had food remnants or other garbage on it. After cleaning off the table, we sat down to wait. Two teenage employees were standing and talking the entire time, apparently oblivious to the dirty tables. Subs came out. We waited for over 30 minutes for the medium pizza with no update. I finally asked where our pizza would be ready and was told five minutes. We ended up waiting over 50 minutes in total for one medium cheese pizza. This will be the last time I support this business. The obviously don't care beyond making a profit.
