We had an unforgettable dinner experience here for our anniversary. Everything was divine. Can’t wait to come back, especially for the sourdough!
I absolutely adored the ambiance at Deer Mountain Inn for dinner on a picturesque fall evening. The Ralph Lauren-esque vibes create a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that truly captures the essence of the season. We were thrilled to find that the restaurant is dog-friendly and our dog was even greeted with a homemade treat from the chef! The food was nothing short of delicious, as were the cocktails. I can’t wait to return and experience a stay on the property in the future.

Food and drinks: We went for dinner and it was really fun. Such an interesting place with a mix of rich history and folk design. The food was great. Definitely worth visiting. The location is super nice.

We’ve never stayed at the inn, but we eat at the restaurant on a regular basis. Service is second to none, the drinks are phenomenal, and food is excellent. We’ve rarely had a bad meal (however, the duck pasta dish is way too salty)and when they have the tuna special with beans, no restaurant can beat it (even in NYC) - wish it was a regular rotation!
This restaurant is by far our favorite in the Catskills.

I would rate this a place a 5 for just the wonderful treatment we received from the staff; everyone was accommodating, friendly, and kind. After having car trouble on the way to Deer Mountain Inn, Logan and Johnny took the time to pick us up from, and drop us off at the auto shop. Darian (I apologize for any misspelling) and Olivia were also helpful at answering our questions. Someone was always available though texting if not at the front desk. During dinner the staff was attentive and the food delicious. The cabin we stayed in was clean and neat. We will definitely come again. Thank you for making our stay relaxing.

Deer Mt. Inn was a lovely venue for my niece's wedding. Beautiful site and great staff.
Rooms: Small but well appointed.
Walkability: Built on a slope. Lovely but be in shape.

Such an amazing place for a short getaway. Very inclusive and dog-friendly, with sumptuous and ethically-sourced food, and an amazing selection of cocktails and wine. Hiking trails within the property. It was the perfect stay—we didn’t need to leave the vicinity.
Magical.

We've been coming back every year since 2017 and let me tell you, it's always been a place we absolutely love! But this time, it was even better! And you know why? Because of Logan! This visit was a total game-changer. The restaurant meals were out of this world, like seriously, incredibly delicious and so darn creative! And to top it all off, we decided to stay in the newly built cabins and let me tell you, we were beyond satisfied. It was just perfect!

We had a perfect Valentine’s Day dinner at the Deer Mountain Inn in the Catskills. The prix fixe menu offered excellent distinct options - especially the oysters, cacio peppe (pasta), duck, and grilled lobster, among the choices. Our personal server, Liz, is so lovely, knowledgeable, and skilled at her craft - we are so grateful! The cocktails are wonderfully mixed to optimize flavor and the wine choices enlighten the palate. See you again soon!
