Recently had my wedding at the Inn and stayed at the property before the event. This is an absolutely beautiful location and everything at the Inn feels special and magical. The rooms are all different and have whimsical and woodsy decor, the restaurant serves incredible food, and the whole team is incredibly kind and engaging. Our wedding guests were extremely impressed and we can't wait for a return trip.

We celebrated our anniversary with dinner at Deer Mountain Inn, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The setting is beautiful and intimate, with that perfect mix of mountain charm and refined elegance. From the moment we were seated, we could tell the staff cared about the details — they even placed a handwritten “Happy Anniversary” card on our table, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The food was outstanding. We ordered the Wagyu Bavette steak and the Steelhead trout, and both dishes were absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The Bavette in particular was unforgettable, one of those meals you keep thinking about long after. The Jewel of the Mountain cocktail was also a standout — balanced, creative, and just the right way to start the evening.
Everything about the night — the atmosphere, the service, and the food — made it truly special. Deer Mountain Inn is fine dining at its best, and we can’t wait to go back.

The accommodations are comfortable to the point of otherworldly, the decor and common spaces are delightfully cozy, and the fresh air and private surroundings make it a perfect getaway venue. The entire lodge and the cabins are dog friendly, so your pet can enjoy a vacation while staying right by your side. On top of a perfectly warm and homey feel, the staff are exceptional — they deliver top notch customer service and will go above and beyond whenever they can to ensure your stay exceeds all expectations. I had to hold myself back from booking another stay this Christmas, but I know I will be back again soon

We had our wedding at Deer Mountain Inn and it is the perfect place to get married. Maureen, Charlotte, and the whole team were fantastic to work with. The food and beverage program is exceptional - our guests all said that it was the best food that they had ever had at a wedding. The mountain top location for the ceremony is hard to beat, and the cabins and rooms in the Inn are also so comfortable and thoughtfully designed. It was everything we could have ever hoped for and more. We couldn't recommend DMI more highly!

We can’t wait to return as hotel guests — We celebrated our engagement dinner here. They had no prior knowledge, but Alex, our incredible waiter, was quick to acknowledge and celebrate us with champagne and beyond amazing service! He was so kind and attentive.
The food was delectable - from the special that day, to the burgers and fries (seriously… some of the best french fries I have ever had) and the music playlist was *chefs kiss*
The hostess was so sweet. My fiancé left his hat that night and the staff were quick to answer our call and have it ready for us to pick up.

From the staff to the dining experience to the room decor, this was the most coziest and luxurious stay. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone deciding where to book their stay to do it in the Deer Mountain Inn.

The lawn provides a great space for the reception tent and the porch a magical space for cocktail hour. Maureen and Charlotte were an absolute dream to work with. They handled everything so smoothly and I had complete trust in their team. They were so helpful during the whole wedding planning process that when it came to the day of there was no stress at all. The food at DMI is absolutely incredible too. Highly recommend for wedding venue if you are up for a cozy, intimate feeling venue but it does require a lot of logistical planning. Rental costs are high and transportation if you have a lot of guests. It’s worth it though!
