Awesome place, there is a ton going on so prepare for an experience. We ended up stopping by here after our first dinner option didn't pan out and I'm glad it didn't. The decor here is awesome with plenty of vintage toys and items to take in. We were seated rather quickly despite it being Saturday night, the place is huge! Server was super friendly and the owner was walking around talking to tables which I love to see. Menu is expensive with plenty of options we settled on the French onion soup and chicken pot pie. Soup was pretty good, very cheesy I would probably try something else next time, but the chicken pot pie was the star of the show. Buttery puff pastry and delectable filling, I dove in and didn't look back until my plate was clean. My girlfriend looked on with a mix of sheer terror and amazement. Be sure to stop by their market on your way out! Will definitely be back

Absolutely amazing place for food and Antiques!
We went there while we were visiting the hunter mountain. They have been running this business since the 1970s. We met Dave who owns the business. He was very kind to give us lots of information about Hunter Mountain and things to see. For food, we took his recommendation and dined in his restaurant. He offered free buns. The food was amazing and the people were really nice too.

Great atmosphere, great staff. We just came by to grab some lattes since other coffee shops were closed. Pleasant experience, thank you!
I have been going there since the early 1970s and it is always a wonderful experience. I moved out of the area and miss the place. Great food, service, atmosphere, and friendly staff! I miss their Halvah too!... BTW, I used to live across the street over what was the Sudden Whim Antique Shop.

Great place, antique wooden building, great food!
Vegetarian options: Various offers for vegetarians/vegans. Great salads!
Soon as you walk in, you can see this place has alot of history and uniqueness. We sat at the bar and admired the counter made out of bottle caps. The variety of cheese and beer has something for everyone. The staff were friendly and eager to assist and inform of selections available.
Parking: We parked in town lot around the corner

Definitely have to come back for dinner, but I was here to check out their cute shop and all the candies & snacks they offer. So fun! I got a variety of chocolates and they were delicious!
This place has sweet service (loveliest staff), were accommodating to our little dog, and the gluten free burger was incredible. The patty was flavorful (perfect char), the veggies were fresh, and the mashed potatoes were my absolute favorite (clearly mashed chunks of buttered russet potatoes, AKA a plattered piece of heaven sent by the universal creator as a gift for this corporeal realm). Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious meal, but especially for gluten free folks! None of my celiac symptoms were triggered, so thank you to Last Chance for a delicious & safe dinner!!!

This place was amazing. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly face who was walking out and noticed we had a dog with us and said I’ll let them know you’re outside. Come to find out it was the owner and his son. So sweet. Our waitress Stacy showed the same kindness to us and brought our pup water in a bowl. The food was also very very good. Highly recommend.

Staff was polite and accommodating, food was all tasty, and I don't find fondue or charcuterie at restaurants very often so it was a nice fresh change of variety.

I bought homemade chocolate from there, and honestly, it's some of the best I've ever tasted.
Came here for lunch after doing the Devil's path. The food was extra delicious and rewarding ! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

We had a huge party and were quite loud and rambunctious(sorry, and thank you) and had the absolute best time. The food was delicious and didn't break the bank. The servers were outstanding and didn't bat an eye at the bachelor/bachelorette energy. 10/10 will go again
