Mountain prices. $26 for the equivalent of a Mamas Boy Burger is extreme. Even then it wasn't that special. Meatballs were so so - undersalted. I've eaten here before and stuck to the more bites and bar snacks and it was really good. On the fence but the prices are outrageous for what it is.

Overpriced! First of all, they charge a 10% living wage fee which is ridiculous on top of the 20% tip. The tip is fine but the extra 10% is terrible. Only Italian restaurant that doesn't serve bread. The meatball appetizer was completely cold. When we told the waitress, she said she would tell the chef ....no new meatballs, no reheating the cold ones, and no taking it off the bill. Poor hospitality. They didn't accommodate a vegetarian guest, who had to pick around the crumbled sausage In her pasta. Food was not good. We paid $546.00 for mostly pasta dishes, a burger, and some chicken dishes, and a few drinks. Way overpriced. I will never ever go back. I regret going there for dinner.

Had a unexpected loss in the family and had to cancel a reservation last minute. Restaurant texted us saying we are obnoxious for cancelling. Very unprofessional.

Food and atmosphere is fitting for the area. Service is underwhelming, never got an additional water and my empty plate sat in-front of me until I got up to leave. It is worth knowing you are paying the wait staff’s salary as a “10% living wage”, if you are in a party of 6 or more, you will be automatically charged a 20% tip.

$90 bill turned into $125 before my card even processed. Take your money somewhere else. Sleezy business practice with a upscale mask…

JV Italian at Manhattan prices. Cook the same frozen food yourself or go elsewhere. Extra mystery charges at the end.

What a gem. NYC quality food. We enjoyed the steak so much I didn't even get the chance to take a photo.

the manager is so rude. The pizza was the worst I ever had. The bottom of the pizza was burned and the bread got a weird taste. The chicken parm was not good either. The price is like the restaurant in midtown manhattan which is not even worth it. I give one star just for the server. He is the only reason why we didn’t leave after the manager gave us attitude. I hope the owner can see this review and do some changes for this restaurant. The business is not gonna last long if it’s like this.

We won’t be back! Raw meatballs for appetizer, steak with terrible chimichurri sauce and extremely salty fries (like ridiculously salty), and a very dry broccoli rab with sausage pasta entree, all that I tasted was the sausage. We were beyond disappointed. Not sure if it’s under new management, new owners or a new chef…. But regardless, our bill (for 2 of us) was over $150, included their 10% cost of living fee (what!?!) and we left annoyed and hungry. Awful, def not worth it!!

We had a reservation at 7:30pm on a Saturday. Once we sat down we could immediately tell the staff was in the weeds. We ordered a couple cocktails and some apps at the same time. The food immediately followed the drinks which took quite a while, especially being that the downstairs dining room was very blue two thirds full.

The shrimp was decent. The arancini and chopped salad was bland. The salad was only dressed in olive oil and not a lot of it.

Atmosphere was definitely chaotic. Seemed they were understaffed. FOH staff power walking and stomping all over the dining room but seemed they had no choice.

The rigatoni Sunday sauce was quite good and the chicken paillard was just okay. The bill was pretty shocking.

$104 for 4 michters manhattans ($26 each) is criminal. Our bill ended up being around $300 after the weird “living wage” charge and a $40 tip. If you want to pay Manhattan prices for shoddy service and mediocre food, this is the spot.

We booked a large table in advance. When we arrived we were told they are out of the foccacia and there's no substitute. This meant we couldn't order half of the appetizers as they require bread. They were also out of half of the main courses (there were only 2 fish portions left, one steak, no rice, no other protein. We had to order what was available and not what we wanted to eat. They offered we'll eat more potatoes. There was no desert too. The staff apologized profusely and it's not their fault. But it's ridiculous to come to a restaurant on Saturday night and not be able to order half the menu. The food we did get to try was good. It's a real shame.

Tremendous experience here last night: right off the bat you notice the casual, laid back atmosphere, a marked and welcome difference from other restaurants of similar quality. The cocktail list doesn’t stray too far from established classics, but offers surprising little twists that are perfectly balanced in the finished product. The menu is superb - absolutely brimming with fresh, seasonal ingredients in every dish. Everything tasted fresh and delicious - again, to feel so relaxed and eat so well is just a treat. The portion sizes too are extremely generous, which is another welcome difference from many other restaurants of this quality. The service was also top notch, especially when I (an idiot) left my card at the restaurant and the host chased me down on the street to return it. All in all a fantastic experience, one we will be returning to again soon.

My friend and I stopped here after an art show the other night and had a wonderful meal outdoors on the deck overlooking the creek. The cocktails were great, and the food divine.

I was expecting so much from this place but sadly it did not live up to its looks. I do want to express that the staff were very welcoming. And the atmosphere was lovely. But the food was just not good for the high prices. My wife and I split several appetizers. The patatas was good, but the other dishes lacked flavor and substance. The dishes were plated beautifully and I was excited to dive in, but was met with mediocre taste. Simply just not worth the prices. I’d recommend coming to this place for a nice drink pre meal. Again, nice staff, average food.

Lovely restaurant in Tannersville that takes reservations. Watermelon salad was great as was the chicken entree. Others really enjoyed the fish.
