It's fake beef rib meat. It's poor quality meat. When I asked why there were no bones, they said they removed the meat from the bones... I didn't do that before, but cook the beef very thoroughly. If you like slightly cooked meat like me, it's okay.

I love taking my family to eat at this location. It reminds me of the mom and pops shops in Korea. Authentic Korean dishes, and the food reminds me of Korea. I also read some of the comments and to each its own, although I would say, you're getting a Korean feel to their culture in American....Don't expect your way of things.

The food was absolutely delicious! We got bul go gi, and everything was amazing, from the marinated beef to the kimchi and side dishes to the *amazing* spicy vegetable soup. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the service is fast and perfect. Don't miss this great place!

This is a Korean BBQ restaurant. This is one of the restaurants where I go frequently. Probably, this is one of the best Korean restaurants in the neighborhood. If you like BBQ, there's another one in Closter. This place has more varieties of Korean dishes, though. In general, the food here is good.

Nothing that'll knock your socks off, Go Ba Woo was for us, a no frills basic Korean restaurant. The food was good, but left a little bit more to be desired with some of the flavors.
Service was good. Went during lunch. Our server was more or less attentive. When he did stop by, he was polite. Sorta like table stakes sorta expectations.
Atmosphere seem dated. It was clean though.
Would I go again? Maybe but it'd likely be a hard pass to convince me to go here if someone else even offered any other suggestion.

I've been frequenting here for well over a year (closer to 2 years I think). The staff there is very attentive and kind. Some days I feel like they've gone above and beyond with their service. It can be more on the expensive side, depending on what you get, but I think that all in all it's worth it. The warm, cozy vibes and friendly staff make every experience there very pleasant! Also, it can get busy but it has never been busy to the point where there was no seating. I've never had to wait to sit down to eat AND the food comes out fairly quickly. 1000/10 recommend!

Pleasant dining. Was not sure about how Americanized restaurants could fit my liking because I am not a meat person. Turns out I liked their recipe a lot definitely worth more come back exploration on the Korean cuisine! The side appetizer nailed it the same kimchi as I expected!!

They also do a great Ssam Bab, which has large basket of fresh vegetables and marinated pork, more than enough for 2 people.Check this place out!
