The food here is delicious. The jagerschnitzel is one of my favorites. The schnitzel is crispy and the red cabbage is sweet. The spaetzle is a little too crispy I think, though. The chicken cordon bleu is probably the best chicken I've ever had. It was so unbelievably tender! The venison medallions are good and the compote compliments it well. The pot roast I thought was okay, but I don't really like pot roast to begin with. If you like pot roast I would recommend trying...
Joe’s the best! He’s attentive, personable, and smart. He knows a lot of historical facts about the tavern including the British Spymaster, Major John Andre. Definitely returning, he made our night a memorable one! Thank you!!
America historical building at its finest. Never would have thought this is where to find the oldest tavern in America. Stumbled upon this place an enjoyed the atmosphere and the local 76 brew was super tasty, very chocolate flavors in my opinion. Thanks for a great experience.
