Bistro 12 has a cozy, warm atmosphere with a nice view of Music Hall across the street.\nThe owners are welcoming, the service is good and there's a nice variety of menu selections. Especially since the prices are so high, the food could use some improvement. It would be nice to see larger pieces of fresh seafood in the risotto, the butternut squash soup was too watery and could use some more seasoning and half of the short ribs were full of fat and grizzle making the dish...
Amazing experience! I’d never been to a restaurant that serves only Portuguese only food. I actually thought it was French when I made the reservation, but I’m so glad I chose it. The owners were lovely, and our group of five was treated to a complimentary dessert wine after dinner, it was strong like a bourbon or brandy, but sweet and smooth with a honey flavor. Absolutely delicious. Everything the food, atmosphere, and service was phenomenal.
Nice restaurant. I had curry monk fish. Not a flavor combination I enjoyed. I love curry and monk fish separately but together it did not work for me. My wife had Portuguese cod. Liked very much. I found prices a bit high but Terrytown is not a cheap town.
