Stopped by on a Saturday morning and got a table outside with a reservation. Got some complimentary mini muffins while we waited for our food.
Vegan mushroom cheese steak sandwich was a highlight.
Service was a little slow as we were trying to pay, but it had gotten busy inside at that point.
Sweetgrass Grill is a quaint restaurant located in the heart of Tarrytown. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service was wonderful. There were so many vegan menu items that it was difficult to choose.
The bread that is served at the table is a nice rustic bread and comes with a vegan white bean dip. Our group tried three appetizers: the buffalo cauliflower (which was really yummy!), the artichoke cakes (delicious!), and a polenta dish on the daily specials (so much flavor!)....
My boyfriend and I had the kale salad and the vegan salmon. My goodness! It was hard to tell it wasn’t really fish. It was so delicious. And whatever you do- don’t leave without having one of their amazing vegan desserts. We enjoyed the vegan salted chocolate tart. It’s to die for!
