I am a big fan of A&S and have been a customer for the past 40 years. While I lived in Pleasantville for many of those years, I no longer live locally. I make an extra effort to pass them on my way down from Hartford, CT to NY. That said, I had an experience today that makes me wonder, so BEWARE. I went in to buy fresh mozzarella and picked up a few of their delicatessen items. a few got weighed on the scale that I could not see, the last one on a scale I could see. Before putting the plastic container on the scale, the scale read 0 instead of minus something to address the weight of the container. They were effectively charging me $18.99 a pound for the plastic container. I called them out on it and to their credit they deducted $2.00 from my bill. I found this disappointing and will make sure to watch the scale in the future.

Chris and Staff are always so helpful when in the store. And when A&S catered an event at our house with over 75 people. The food impressed everyone ! The staff was excellent and allowed us to truly enjoy our party. Thanks again

Picked up 4 meatballs at $5.00 a pop...they were the worst meatballs. We could not eat them as they had a weird taste.
Thank god we picked up some sauce and chicken so we had some dinner. Would love a refund.

Best EVERYTHING! The variety of food is amazing and everything is made fresh daily. Best Reggiano Parmesan Cheese anywhere, baked ziti to die for and a selection sides an soup that has something for everyone. The best part is how friendly, kind and accommodating they are!
