When I first started going here I noticed that there were reasonable portions given and the food tasted good. But now the food is below the old standards and no longer tastes fresh. In addition the portions are no longer reasonable and when I order chicken it barely filled up a fourth of the bowl on top of the rice. Noticing this, I asked for a little more chicken but was charged for double chicken for what used to be the old portions. Dissapointing.

AVOID!!! FOOD POISONING!!! GO TO CHIPOTLE INSTEAD!!!

Absolutely horrible experience! Salsa Fresca has degraded so badly on quality, customer service and performance over the years and the portions have been absolutely so little! I got food poising due to a rude female employee at this location, she was short, heavier hispanic fair skinned. I requested to heat something up and she didn’t, the food was cold and stale, tasted almost rotten! I paid nearly 20$ for the equivalent of something I’d pay 8$ for in chipotle. These prices are robbery, go to chipotle instead. Chipotle has fresher taste and quality, salsa Fresca is digusting! 0/10 if I could and warning everyone to avoid! Spread the word!!

I ordered a burrito for pick up and it was very small. It fit in the palm of my toddler size hand. For $13 dollars I could have gone to Chipotle, CAVA or even Pancheros and gotten a decent size burrito fit for an adult. Food was good but not worth the price. Sorry, first and last time here.

I’m vegan and I made my own bowl. It came with chips and salsa. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The restaurant was very clean. The rose hibiscus iced tea was more phenomenal than words can say. I’m definitely going back. It’s like if you took Chipotle and made it really nice and way better!

Vegetarian options: You can build your own bowl so it’s not rocket science.

My family loves Salsa Fresca.....great staff + great food options + great drink options and a clean, bright dining area make this a wonderful family Mexican night out. Prices are good too....and excellent rewards program !!

The food is OK but pickup service is terrible. For the third time today I called an order in to the Hawthorne location and for the third time it was screwed up. They told me my order was apparently taken by some girl who had gone home. No one had the order. Ok, so can you make it for me? I asked twice PLEASE NO CILANTRO and was assured both times they would leave off the cilantro. I got home and my food was covered in cilantro. I threw it away. Will not be going back. Three strikes, you're out.
