We had a wonderful meal this past Sunday afternoon. They were very accommodating for our family gathering and the food was all delicious. Each of us enjoyed our meal. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Thorn as a destination for either lunch or dinner. We will be back.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure. The staff are wonderful and accommodating, the food delicious and all deserts are home made. Give it a try! It's close to Jacob Burns, a perfect place to have dinner after the movies!

I found this place on tik tok when I was looking for brunch places in the west Chester and Yonkers area. The place has parking on site which was great! We went around 2pm on a Saturday and there was only one other table seated, it was pretty empty, which is fine. We ordered the calamari for the table, chicken and waffles and steak and eggs. We also got unlimited mimosas and Bellinis. The drinks were good. The food was very tasty! The service was slow and it took a long time for the food to come out, which was shocking given that there was only one other table of 4 there. I would recommend that they become a bit faster. The waiter was very personable and nice.

short ribs were very fatty, sauce/gravy was watery unappetizing presentation. atmosphere was great, clean establishment.
ALLERGY ALERT- wait staff made several mistakes w/ order when asked to eliminate foods due to allergy.
I advise the owner to look into this I am sure this can be rectified

Called ahead to see if they had any room, Mario answered the phone and was extremely nice and saved a table for me and my wife, even recognized me by voice when I walked In.

Ernesto was our server and he was extremely helpful, patient, and kind. He took his time to describe the off-menu specials and it was the first time in my life I actually ordered one of the off menu specials from any restaurant because he was really cool about explaining the dish to me.

Drinks came out immediately after ordering and the food did not take long, and was INSANELY delicious. I had the stuffed chicken breast special and my wife had the mushroom risotto.

We will be coming back! sorry there’s no pictures of the food I ate too fast lol.

The service here was so incredible. Delish food and drinks. Everyone was so friendly, professional and kind, going above and beyond for our family. Great place for lunch, brunch or dinner. From the food to the cocktails and everything in between- We highly recommend this restaurant!

Just stopped here on our 13 hour drive from Bar Harbir Maine to Chesapeake Virginia for dinner. This Mediterranean ispired food is amazing!!! I had grilled Branzino- so yummy! My 11 year old son had a pasta dish that was excellent-shrimp with a creamy basil pesto sauce and roasted red peppers. My husband had a short ribs lasagna that was superb with a very tasty simple side salad. We also had the “Thorn chips”- fried zucchini and eggplant with yummy tzatziki sauce. My dirty martini with Hendricks was on point! Highly recommend!

We were a table of eight, which is never easy to manage in any restaurant. The food, drinks, and service was excellent. The portions were good and the service timing was excellent. I recommend diners take the opportunity to visit this restaurant.

I've been coming for over a year, and this place is my favorite the staff the location amd the decor is the best
