Went to Vida Restaurant in Thornwood, NY last night with a group of ten gorgeous women, and let me tell you — they handled us like absolute pros. We showed up last minute, and they still accommodated us with zero stress and all smiles.

The food was chef’s kiss, the drinks were strong and pretty (just like us 😌🍸), and the vibe was immaculate — warm, lively, and the perfect spot for a girls’ night out.

But the service? Baby… elite.
Attentive, friendly, on point with every detail — they made us feel taken care of from the moment we walked in until the second we left glowing.

If you’re looking for a place that serves great food, great drinks, and lets you and your girls feel like the main characters you are, Vida is it.

We had a fantastic dinner at Vida in Thornwood. We were a group of ten, and from the moment we arrived the staff handled our table with ease and warmth. The service was attentive without feeling intrusive and everything came out at a good pace, which is not easy with a large group.

The decor is beautiful and creates a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The space feels thoughtfully designed and adds a lot to the experience of the meal.

We started with six different tapas to share. Every plate was well prepared, flavorful, and nicely presented. It was a fun way to sample a range of dishes, and there was something for everyone at the table.

For my main course I ordered the meat paella. The flavors were very good, the rice was well seasoned, and the portion was generous. My only small wish is that it had more socarrat, that crispy layer at the bottom you find in traditional Valencia style paellas. Even with that, I really enjoyed the dish.

Overall, Vida is a great choice for a group dinner or a night out. Excellent food, friendly and professional service, and a lovely setting. I would happily come back and look forward to trying more of the menu.

I usually don’t write reviews but I was highly disappointed by this restaurant. The food is mediocre but the service is what is really bad. Me and my friend were there for just under an hour but it felt like so much longer. The staff kept asking if we were done and how much longer we were gonna take. Mind you we can at a pretty early time and the place was empty

Our group of four was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of this establishment. With friendly service staff and an excellent wine selection, this is a sleeper restaurant. If you crave Spanish cuisine, this is the place!

Took friends to experience Vida for the first time. We figured it would be fabulous, given the standards and talents of chef Marc and his wife Bri. And it was! First of all, the restaurant interior is gorgeous. Seating is very comfortable. Service is highly attentive. And the food! Excellent. For the four of us, we shared two salads, and two appetizers/small plates. Then three mains. The branzino special, paella, and chicken dishes each had their own flavors and all were delicious. Had to order “Augustine’s cannoli” even though it was not Spanish, as it is one of my favs from their Augustine’s restaurant. A terrific evening!!!

This was a huge disappointment. The most mid Spanish tapas I've ever had. We arrived at our reservation time and had to wait 15 minutes for our table, frustrating since their reservation emphasized punctuality. Then we waited 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge our existence. We tried to remain hopeful since the place was packed.

We got the serrano ham, croquettes, empanadas and shellfish paella.

This restaurant is geared towards the gringos of america. They didn't even have pan con tomate! There was nothing that was authentic to spain. If you're looking for authentic food please avoid.

The $46 paella was nothing like what we had in Spain. It was cooked with too much water and tomato paste. It was so upsetting.

They didn't have Estrella (the literal beer of Spain). They only had local beers and an Italian pilsner (????). The dessert options included cannolis.....huh???

I had really high hopes but left with a $250 bill and still kinda hungry.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the amazingly beautiful decor and friendly staff. The ambiance was incredible and the food was exceptional! The empanadas, shrimp tacos, croquettes, mussels, tuna, steak and caviar were so fresh and flavorful. I can’t wait to go back!
