Joe and Cindy are fantastic individuals and this business is a fine example of what Ticonderoga has to offer. The catering side of this business is fantastic...great food, prompt service, and a large number of side dishes at great prices. The Candy Corner, the side business at this location, has all the old nostalgic candy we all remember and is also a popular business with locals and visitors.

The chicken fell off the bone and was juicy and mild. I don’t like over seasoned meats so I felt it was perfect. The sauces were a wonderful addition allowing you to put as much or as little as you like. Salad was fresh and crispy and the coleslaw was tangy and sweet. Would eat here again!

We wanted to love our lunch, went out of our way to eat here as we were craving BBQ.Found the service less than cheerful, brisket and pulled pork were good enough, just not something we'd seek out again. Well cooked, just under seasoned. Beans were very good.This review would have been a 4 except the bathroom needs better maintenance. It wasn't good, and I'm being polite. All restaurants should realize that if customers see that, they wonder what they can't see.On the positive side, there's a large variety of candy for sale.I just wish friendlier service & a better bathroom.

We booked Bodette’s Barbecue to cater our wedding yesterday at The Barn at Lord Howe Valley. We booked during COVID and did not do a taste testing. We were a little apprehensive going into our wedding not knowing the quality of food we were providing. Needless to say, they did not disappoint. They provided appetizers and buffet dinner. Everything was fantastic!!! We kept hearing from the guests how amazing the food was. If you are considering booking them for your next event, do it now!

Stopped in to get some candy with my kids and left with a bunch of delicious candy and sandwiches ( my kids begged because it smelled so good). Good selection of candy and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their sandwiches. Friendly staff!

The candy is outstanding and includes many candies I haven't seen in years. The potato salad was excellent as was the chicken and pulled pork and mac and cheese.

Definitely the best bbq around! The owners are amazing and genuinely care about their food!
The food is delicious. This is true smoke house flavor- the rub on the ribs is so good that you really don't need the bbq sauce.
NOTE: I called 9/24/20 and the phone message said Bodette's BBQ is closed for the season.
Good ribs and pulled pork. Loved the Mac N Cheese! Nice sauces as well.
