Overall: This is the best pizza in Ticonderoga, but the inconsistent cutting and lack of seating are drawbacks.Pizza: The pizza is excellent, but the slices are often cut poorly. The crust is generally thin and crispy, but it can vary in thickness and texture depending on the employee making it. On our first visit, a young man made our pizza and the crust was much thicker and fluffier than on subsequent visits, where two different young ladies made it. Located across from the Ticonderoga Fire Station, Porter's Pizzeria & Sub Shop is a casual takeout restaurant serving up traditional & specialty NY style pizzas, calzones, strombolis, pasta dinners, salads, hot & cold subs & wraps, club sandwiches, burger plates, hot dogs, Michigans, fried appetizers, and cold drinks. I ordered a large taco pizza, it was huge. And it was delicious! I'm not a small man and I was defeated in just 3 pieces. I haven't had pizza like this in years. Excellent!I didn't rate the atmosphere because I ordered delivery. But I plan to bring the wife out to their shop on our anniversary.
