Every table was dirty and not been cleaned all day garbage on floor 6pm way to exspensive the.steak sub not enough meat all bread you can get a large meal next door for 15 dollars or across the street at Tully for 15 dollars not all bread dumpling house is always packed next door
There’s something to be said about a place that doesn’t chase every new trend but instead focuses on getting the fundamentals right—and this restaurant does just that. From the moment you walk in, there's an unpretentious charm. The ambiance isn’t trying too hard; it feels lived-in, in a comforting way, like it’s been part of the community for years.
Service was timely and polite. You won’t find over-the-top presentation here, but the warmth and attention to detail are very real. Our server remembered small requests and had a great sense of timing when it came to checking in.
The menu isn’t massive, which I see as a plus. They do fewer things, but they do them well. Everything we ordered came out exactly as described, and there’s a clear consistency in how the kitchen approaches flavor and preparation. Even the side dishes felt intentional.
There’s a casual rhythm to how everything flows—from the greeting at the door to the final check. It feels genuine and steady, which is why I’ve come to trust it as a go-to.
If you want a dependable place with character, one that won’t let you down, this one checks all the boxes.
Understaffed, consistently, but if you're willing to wait, it's worth it.
Don’t waste your money here! Food is disgusting and so is the managers attitude! Place was packed with people and she wasn’t helping her employees at all too busy on her phone! I’ve come in the morning and at night both are just as bad!
Great subs keep up the great work !
Subs are made fresh and they are delicious
Almost $50 for two subs and two drinks. The 14 inch steak sub was just a huge piece of hard bread with I kid you not nothing on it. Maybe 5 bites worth of steak and then just nothing. DiBellas used to actually care about their food. I worked there when I was younger for a few years and don’t ever remember it being bad like that. Waste of money..
Love the food, love the oldies, it takes you back to our teenage years!
I challenge Buffalo to eat a sub at Dibella’s Subs you will never ever ever ever eat A sub anywhere else Is huge and as good as the Bella Subs.. Ordered ahead of time on the online website. I walked in 3 minutes after it said it was ready for pick up I was in a rush to get back to work and they helped 4 people that came in after me to order and I had to wait til they all got their subs. I find that really disrespectful not to mention how rude they were speaking to me this has happened another time also. Not going back to this location.

This is the only sub shop in buffalo that doesn't have chicken fingers and French fries, so NO chicken finger subs.
The bread is made fresh in house, And the like 10 subs they do have are delicious. Cookies too!
Staff has kindof an off putting attitude. We had to stand there and wait while 3 people were behind the counter, for our order to be taken, and repeat our selections... seemed like we were inconveniencing them? Idk it felt really weird.
If you like cold cut subs, this is the spot though. Just don't expect customer service. And it's not cheap. With other choices on every corner, I'd skip this place next time. It's a shame cuz we in buffalo love to support local. But we love chicken finger subs and fries! And to be treated w respect when spending money ??♀️

*Update: After calling both the GM and the Corporate Office we received an email saying it is being processed now, which means it was never taken care of a 3 weeks ago or a week ago when told it was.
Ordered through their online portal for delivery 3 weeks ago. The driver stole the food and never delivered it. We called store and were first told it was picked up and on the way, it wasn't. Then the store told us he would 'cancel and refund the order'. 3 weeks later now we still have not been refunded even after speaking with the GM over a week ago. Was not offered any compensation for giving Dibellas a ~60$ loan for 3 weeks to this point and getting the run around.
At this point we will no longer be eating at Dibellas, which all things considered the sandwiches are usually fine. This is an incredibly sour taste in our mouth.
