While the sub I ordered was hot and delicious, I had some issues with my side and beverage. The bottle of Diet Pepsi I was given was expired. Fine, I have other drinks at home. But the macaroni salad I order was also expired AND someone altered the expiration date to make it appear as if it expired today instead of two days ago. Is macaroni salad that expired two days ago going to kill me? Probably not. But should I have to eat macaroni salad that isn’t fresh - even when I paid full price for it - and have an employee try to pass it off as fresh? No, no I should not.

Lovely reliable Dibella’s is no surprise the one that thrives at the top of my sub eating preference. Fresh baked bread nice enough and present employees quick service from card to table in under 10 minutes.

16.50 for a sub with no toppings!!! I ordered extra lettuce and tomato. Also the WRONG ROLL! don’t go here. Go to Wegmans. There subs are better

I used to love this place. I really did. It’s just
incredibly mismanaged now. The food that you actually do get is subpar,
—i.e. cold, firm cheese on a hot sub—and I can’t remember the last time I ordered from here and actually received my family’s entire meal, of which half of was missing tonight. I waited over an entire year to order from here again, thinking it was a fluke and they’d figure it out. Low and behold, it wasn’t. Somehow it got worse than last time. I’ll stick with Jersey Mike’s and Wegmans, or any of the numerous reputable and delicious sub shops in the WNY area.

Subs are good but…….If you want a good laugh take a look at the lasagna soup on their wall menu then order it! You will get a dixie cup of soup for $5.99 even the staff say they get complaints all day…….Come on Dibellas do better!

Very friendly staff ! They missed the mark on my sub, some how the order taker heard mayo and the sub make didn’t read no peppers , mushrooms instead, they also didn’t have the potato salad I wanted, but the Mac salad was good.

Little bit of a wait because they build your sub from scratch, but it's worth the wait. Absolutely delicious sub.

If you order takeout, absolutely check your sub before you leave. I’ve had to drive back every time!

It’s so sad to see what Dibellas has become, but I guess I expect it from this location. I went to a Dibellas in Ohio and it was stellar. This location has always had terrible service. They are inconsistent, especially if it’s a cheesesteak & they will more than likely completely botch your order (they somehow put random toppings if they put any toppings on at all).

I can’t help but think the new layout (which is ridiculous) is an effort to have less staff but in that - now they are often out of their best everything rolls (MID-DAY!) and goof up orders even more. I can’t help say that this location probably doesn’t seem to get good business because their ordering system and their workers never have consistency. You’re more likely to get unchopped or undercooked, or too little of portion of meat on your sub…or you’ll get a water soaked - sloppy mess. That’s why they aren’t busy any more. Cutting staff or understaffing is only going to make that worse.

They need to train consistency. I fear Dibellas won’t be around long.

There’s something to be said about a place that doesn’t chase every new trend but instead focuses on getting the fundamentals right—and this restaurant does just that. From the moment you walk in, there's an unpretentious charm. The ambiance isn’t trying too hard; it feels lived-in, in a comforting way, like it’s been part of the community for years.
Service was timely and polite. You won’t find over-the-top presentation here, but the warmth and attention to detail are very real. Our server remembered small requests and had a great sense of timing when it came to checking in.
The menu isn’t massive, which I see as a plus. They do fewer things, but they do them well. Everything we ordered came out exactly as described, and there’s a clear consistency in how the kitchen approaches flavor and preparation. Even the side dishes felt intentional.
There’s a casual rhythm to how everything flows—from the greeting at the door to the final check. It feels genuine and steady, which is why I’ve come to trust it as a go-to.
If you want a dependable place with character, one that won’t let you down, this one checks all the boxes.

Understaffed, consistently, but if you're willing to wait, it's worth it.
