great food - I love spicy food and this fit the bill. We had their Dan Dan Noodles, which for our first time were excellent flavor. Their soup dumplings had good flavor but were hard to manage without breaking. Their szechuan chicken was awesome - crispy fried chicken pieces tossed(?) or fried with chili peppers. I don't like saucy food and this fit the bill. Good stuff!

Enjoy very much but too hot for many American palettes. When ordering let them know if you want them to cut down on the heat. Personally, I love it.

This is one of my favorite restaurants that I come back to whenever I am craving the salty, tangy & spicy dish, Fish Fillet W Sour Cabbage. It is delicious with white rice and the portion size is huge. I always share it with my sister or I’ll have leftovers to take home.It comes with plenty of fish and the texture is so soft and silky. The sour cabbage is a little bit tangy and it is perfect with the fish and rice. The dish is not too tangy or spicy. They have hot chili oil on the tables if you want it to be spicier; it is also tasty.Mao’s Braised Pork Belly was extremely tender and it melts in your mouth. Our dish was delicious and there was none leftover. It could’ve used a little more vegetables as we were a group of 3 and we only had 4 bok choys in the dish. None the less, I would order this dish again.

We waited around an hour for food to even come out, food was send out in a weird order with soup as the first item, then the food was subpar for the wait, there was a 10-20 minutes wait between each dish and the noodles came out last. There were no little side dish that came out in the very beginning like most stores, this is a pretty pricy place for the food’s taste, everything was either too salty or too much of one taste. One more thing I never really would argue about but made me angry at this place was the tipping. We normally always tip 18% but the fact that they charged us gratuity without telling us before hand or letting us know anywhere on the menu was really disrespectful. The server/boss was really rude and almost seemed pushy. She made a lot of snarky remarks towards not only our tables but other tables as well. A really saddening experience.

Okay atmosphere. Food is too salty. Service is terrible. We waited for at least 40 mins for our food to come. There’s only one person working (in the front and as a server). The lady was rude and disrespectful. Don’t come here if you want some nice Chinese food and a great service experience.

Came here with friends to enjoy authentic Chinese food, really let down by the bad service subpar food and horrible service as well as scary wait times for each dish to come out. Waited around an hour for even one soup dish to show up..

The food here is incredible! Our server was knowledgeable of the dishes and guided us well, based on our questions. The spicy & sour soup was very hot/spicy - as the server said it would be - but it was also the best hot & sour soup I’ve ever had. The dishes were plated well and portions were generous. Great prices too! The only reason we gave a 4/5 on atmosphere is they obviously spent their time and money inside the establishment, as the outside still looks like a Pizza Hut. However, this is a perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. Fantastic find!

Food was very mediocre. Waitress was impatient and did not behave properly when asked a question about the food.

After being aware of this relatively new restaurant for about a year from driving past it many times, my wife and I recently went there for dinner. It was an excellent choice. We were very satisfied with the food, both quality and amount, the service, which was prompt and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere and cleanliness of the facility. The menu is extensive and diverse, with an intentional focus on spicy fare, including a full range of Szechuan meals The focus on spiciness and hot flavors was advised upon our arrival. As both my wife and I enjoy spicy food, especially Chinese food, we were all in.My wife ordered a chicken dish, and I ordered a lamb dish. We ordered spring rolls, and I also ordered the spicy and sour soup. All the food was superb, and while definitely hot and spicy as per our liking, it not overbearingly so. Just right!I particularly enjoyed the spicy and sour soup, which ideally matched the preferences of my taste buds. It was as good that variety of soup I have enjoyed in the Buffalo area.Portions were ample, so we left the restaurant with leftovers. All were still tasty and in freshly served condition when we ate them a f days later.Cost and price were reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food and the generous portions. It was a wonderful dining experience.I highly recommend the Jin Yu Garden Restaurant.

Stopped by on a whim and glad I did. They have soup dumplings! I've been looking for soup dumplings in the area but haven't had any luck until now. The dumplings were fantastic, along with the bbq pork buns and lo mein that I also got. The service was friendly and attentive. I definitely plan to come back. I don't know authentic Chinese cuisine, but this place seems to have it.
