Simple, and as personal and you can get. Reportedly lost their lease and will be ending table service late October 2019. The owner told me they will continue "family style catering" after the restaurant closes. I do not have the details.
Beirut is my go to in Troy for amazing falafel, hummus, grape leaf rolls, and gyros! You will not be disappointed with anything on the menu.
Love this place! We tried their food at the vegan fest in Albany a few weeks ago and had to come back. They serve vegan and meat based food (chicken, beef etc). I had a lentil and onion dish which was really good. The grape leaves are hand made( like the rest) and really good. The sampler platter with hummus, babaganoush, falafel, grape leaves with salad was nice. My father in law got chicken and rice, and my husband had a beef dish and liked it. To end the meal we all had vegan baklava which was fantastic. And you feel like you are eating with family because they are so friendly and welcoming. We will go back!
I am absolutely beside myself with this place right now! This was our first time trying this restaurant and everything was awesome! Everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly. It was literally the best I've ever had in my life! The people were very nice over the phone and in person, and I am just completely amazed and beside myself with how good the food is I could really eat here every day. I think we have found not only our favorite restaurant but one of the best restaurants here in Troy New York! I've added pictures but we had already started eating and they aren't close to how great it was presented. We will be back on a regular basis.
The food here is amazing! The owners are incredibly nice and knowledgeable, and super friendly. It really felt like you were being invited into their home for dinner. I had the shish taouk, and the garlic fries, and it was delightful. The chicken was flavorful and tender, and I've never eaten a salad so fast! The dressing was tangy and full of herbs. I'll be back!
Absolutely some of the best falafel I've ever had. Everything was delicious, and we did not leave hungry! Will totally be coming back!
Super nice owner. Authentic food. Very fair prices. Truly a special place with a great atmosphere. Don't pass this one up!
Lovely home cooked food, and very nice service. The owner is a talented painter and his paintings decorate the restaurant walls. The Zaatar and Falafel wraps were delicious.
Amazing food and the owner was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend!!

A gem in Troy! The owner is very sweet and the food is amazing, especially the garlic sauce and rice! We were here last 10 years ago and he generously gave me a water bottle as he saw I was very pregnant and it was summer. So when passing back through upstate NY we knew we had to stop by again and we're not disappointed!
We love Beirut. The menu is small, but gives a great selection of Lebanese comfort food. The owners are a husband/wife pair, and they run the show. Eli runs the front of the restaurant, always greeting guests with a smile, and his wife cooks every order. I have never had a bad experience there! It's a must-do in Troy!
This small restaurant is an ideal place for a peaceful meal. Went there for lunch. Had to wait bit longer for food but it was freshly cooked and yummy. That was our first time trying Lebanese food and it was delicious. You have to try the rice!
The smells of the garlic and tahini are fantastic here! White Rosewater coffee is a must try. All the food here is top notch - Middle Eastern Comfort Food!
It is a true family business. They always greet you and make you feel at home. Love the food. I always bring home an extra garlic paste and pita. One of my favorite places in Rensselaer county.
