I used to commend defazios as food was always ready on time. The last 3 times not only was food not ready it was well over 15 minutes both times of waiting. I understand being busy but for pizza not even to be put I. The oven prior to pick up time is wild. Sell less pizzas if you can’t meet your timeframe. it seems the focus no longer is on defazios on 4th. I tried messaging them privately after the past two times only to be met with no response. Officially the last order I will place with them. It’s a shame the food is decent but when you’re expecting to be able to run in and out, 10 minutes after your order was supposed to be ready, and have to wait another 10+ minutes is just unacceptable.

Appetizers and pizza were amazing! Also, Matt (I believe one of the owners??) is a great guy. It was our first time coming to try the pizza after seeing the Dave Portnoy (barstool sports guy) review, so we weren't familiar with the two locations in Troy, and the dining in setup, but Matt was picking pizzas up from the delivery location when were there [realizing there was no dine in at that location] and he called his sister and reserved a table for us. Was a super nice guy, and we’ll definitely be back soon.

I used to be a more or less frequent customer of De Fazio’s, occasionally even placing bulk orders for work events. Unfortunately, the quality of their online orders has declined significantly. They now only offer a basic crust, even though a variety of crust options was once a hallmark of their menu. Worse yet, delivery times have become unpredictable—sometimes stretching up to two hours—and the pizzas often arrive cold, with fewer toppings and an overbaked crust. Regrettably, my last order will be the last ever.

Pizza is excellent with high quality cheese pepperoni, mushrooms and a unique homemade sauce that's both well seasoned and still tastes fresh. The base cheese pizza is already very well seasoned so I recommend going easy on the salty toppings. Almost no indoor seating so plan to take it to go or wait for the seasonal outdoor seating to open
A friend and I ordered delivery from here as he said they have the best pizza in Troy. As a first timer, if this is the best pizza in Troy, get help Troy. Maybe I just got a bad pie. We ordered 1 large cannoli and a large buffalo chicken pizza. The cannoli was great. The pizza tasted rancid. It looks like they used just Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Sauce for the pizza sauce because when I took a bite, it was just drowning in buffalo sauce. The cheese and chicken couldn't even stay on the slice as we tried to eat more since this pizza was $28.00. I wasted that money here. We ended up ordering from I Love's on Congress St. They made up for it heavily. I might not try this place again, as I don't trust pizza spots that don't sell chicken wings, but maybe I'll get a regular cheeze pie and try again in 2 months. Sorry, DeFazio's.
