Moved here from NYC and have finally found good pizza and real Italian food. The pizza has a delicious crust, not crispy enough, but properly proofed and the right amount of gluten. The sauce flavor is spot on. It is excellent pizza. The house salad is huge, fresh and has a nice mix of lettuces. We had the red pepper pesto and the pesto over linguini. The pasta is made fresh in-house, and they know how to make good sauces. The hangover cake is fantastic, it's a booze soaked pound cake and it it the perfect way to end a great meal. There is very limited seating, so call ahead to reserve a table. It reminds me of the places I grew up with in NYC.

Really wanted to love this place based on reviews. But the sauce or whatever you want to call it was not good. Dough is bread dough. No flavor. Not worth the money spent which is not cheap. Place also needs a makeover. There's no old school charm.

Year after year, I keep coming back to Defazios. They can't lose! Their pizzas are so good. I had a celebration last year and ordered one of every pizza on their menu. The only warning I'll give is that on a Friday or Saturday, you have to order early in the day. They're also the epitome of NY culture that I love. Every interaction that I have with them feels so authentic. I'm so lucky I stumbled upon this gem when I moved to Troy 7 years ago.
Its and old school spot with great pizza and great service. While im giving this review im not gonna lie when i opened the box i thought wow this pizza is thick. However when you bite into it youll see how light and airy yet crispy at the same time the pizza is. Its simply great pizza but the higjlight is no doubt the sauce! A slight tang and doesnt let the cheese take over like most places do. I live all the way in goshen and will be back multiple times just for this pie!Thanks guysThis spot has my U.S Army Veteran seal of approval ??

Best pizza I have had in this area. Order pizza from here folks. You will be happy you did.
No soap in the bathroom, which means the employees don't properly wash their hands. Gross. I informed them at the counter, they ignored me and went back to standing there waiting for the next customer. Fortunately I had purell so I could clean my hands, but I was there for another 20 minutes eating (I had already taken a bite of my food before using the bathroom, otherwise I would have walked out without eating) and no employee went to the bathroom to refill the soap dispenser. Gross.

I want to try this SO BAD, but it has to be gluten-free. I know you guys are amazing at what you do and I know you could tweak the recipe for Celiac’s. Please keep us in mind for the future. ?

Absolutely disgusting. Large black hair in the pizza. The manager couldn't care less. Offered $10 off next order??!! Like we'll order again. Arrived over 30 minutes late on a $70 order. Don't waste your money. No food safety, on time delivery or customer service standards. Too many other better choices. Would leave zero stars if I could.
