Great restaurant! They have it all: great food, good tables, good atmosphere, good decor, nice views, great service! We had a brisket and bacon sandwich, BBQ chicken, fries, fries with gravy (excellent gravy), mac & cheese, and corn bread. Good portion sizes, too. Loved it. We walked from the Best Western hotel across the street. (photo note: the chicken breast is on a side plate bc it came out of the smoker after the other pieces on the plate. The meal came with 2 legs, 2 thighs, and 1 breast, plus 2 sides.)

Bar food with a leaning toward bbq. Edit... visited again yesterday for just something small and a take out for my wife. We had some wings and a side of coleslaw. I had a diet, and we both had a beer. They had 8 oz. glasses for draft beer. Extra points from me as I do not want a pint when I go some where and want a draft. This edit is to say a small beer option, I think, is very good.

Dinosaur is reliably terrific. Limited options for vegetarians (reasonable at a BBQ joint!) but we always get the mushroom Reuben and it is worth coming back for over and over. The sides are also delicious- fried green tomatoes are damn good, greens with smoked turkey are salty and intense, and lots of the other sides are delicious.
It’s a fun place; very casual, huge bar with sports on tv, outdoor seating is lovely at sunset.
Service is always speedy and gracious. We go as often as we can.

My family and I recently all met for lunch . I was visiting from Florida and was told the Dinosaur BBQ was a must !!!!! The menu had an option for everyone. I highly recommend the brisket. We had a wonderful experience and loved our server Michelle.

My phone wouldn't let.me scan the bar code to complete the survey yesterday but a review is definitely necessary. First time at.the Troy location. I had honey bbq wings for an appetizer. Great stuff. And for an entree was ribs, brisket with sides of chili and salad. A came.with cornbread Everything was spectacular, one of the.best meals I have had. Bacon in the chili and the house dressing being bbq ranch were nice touches. My server Alison deserves a lot of credit too. Pleasant person, hard working, and made great suggestions when I asked. Alison and the food made this a great experience. Highly recommended and I will be back.

Amazing BBQ and sides! Try the 2 or 3 meat combo platter for a great variety. The BBQ fried rice and simmered greens were fantastic. Great location also right on the river. Will be back when I'm in the area.

Brisket was very good but Mac and cheese was disgusting had a very odd flavor and couldn’t eat it and the coleslaw tasted like straight vinegar. It was awful
This is the best BBQ I’ve had in the Northeast! I’m originally from Georgia and went to college in North Carolina (known for amazing BBQ). Their food tastes authentic and incredibly fresh. The manager also stopped by tables to ask how customers were doing and we chatted with him for several minutes. I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for real BBQ and friendly service.
