I love this place! I dont come often because I'm not local anymore, but when I come here, I feel like I went 30 years back in time, and it makes my heart happy. They have great food at reasonable prices. They are a cash only facility, and they are busy. I love seeing a small business like this that doesn't have all the newest of everything, but people still love it. It's a salt of the earth kind of place where everyone is welcome.

Famous Lunch is a gem--a charming old-school place with wonderful waitstaff and ambience. Reminded me of (the best things about) The Bear! It made me so happy that a place like this still exists. I'm not even a hot-dog person--I had a delicious grilled cheese. (The prices are amazing, too.) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

My wife and I stop in to have lunch some time ago, I ordered 3 with and a small fry. After eating the 3 I felt like having one more. The grill guy gave me a rock hard shriveled up disgusting hotdog, that I left on the plate. There were probably 30 freshly cooked dogs available in the grill but he gave me garbage. I should have thrown it in his face. Extremely poor customer service, and I’ll never go back.

As usual, it is standing room only here. Scott and his crew serve up mini hotdogs with meat sauce and other delicacies that will make your mouth water ! In my younger days, my brother and I could eat twenty hotdogs each at a sitting. Nowadays, five is my limit. I always grab five extra "for later" since five just isn't enough. One other strong point that keeps me coming back is that they serve RC cola and 7 up - two of my favorite soft drinks. Thanks again, Scott !

Best food ever
This is an update... went there today for breakfast with my toddler. It's been a while since I've been there. The food is always delicious, the employees are amazing... but when I got the bill, it was $19 and some change for a bacon, eggs, homefries, and toast breakfast and an order of french toast. I couldn't believe the price. I didn't get a menu because I used to be a regular, so both me and the employee know that I know what they have. If I knew the prices had changed so drastically, I would have gotten a breakfast sandwich. Other than the price hike, this place is amazing.
