Ashley and Kevin have really turned this place around. Great food and a great staff! The staff is always friendly no matter when we go. We typically dine there once a week. Great menu with rotating specials along with a rotating draft beer list.. Can’t say enough good things about Hill Creek Tavern and Ashley and Kevin!
Joined 20 of my friends for an evening out - it was an hot night but everyone had a great time! Thank you to the wait staff, bartender and the amazing kitchen staff (chef).
I ordered the swordfish special and it was the best swordfish I’ve ever eaten.
Kid-friendliness: Saw lots of families, great patio seating and lawn area for activities.

I’ve since moved from the capital district, but when I’m in town, I make it a point to come here. The food is always amazing, and the staff is so friendly! I like that I can ask questions about the beers and the staff can give an educated response, showing they want me to enjoy my decision.
